The only time I saw Viv was with the group Grimms in Liverpool in about 1974. It was wonderful and no-one seems to remember the group. There’ll never be another like him.

Where to even begin with this video! I hate to toss the word 'genius' around like we tend to but I think Viv Stanshall was one in his own unique way. His way with words for one. I wanted to repeat some of the hilarious things he says with such deadpan seriousness but there's no way to do it because the whole thing is like that!
