This was a really cool show. I loved the performance aspect and the message. Vivienne walks the walk, she seeks to conserve by recycling materials and sourcing sustainable materials. She encourage people to buy quality, to buy less, to buy consciously. How many business people do you know who would do that in the rag trade? God bless her, she has always been one in a million.

This is one field where women are always gonna dominate. James McShane its crap to you because as a conservative, it’s easier for you to understand that everything and everyone should be in its place. Everyone should be in their own sterile box. The personal is the political. The personal is the political. It’s easier for you for everyone to shut up and listen only to the dominant (you). People are not boxes. We are fluid. We are water based creatures and even God acknowledges that. If you can’t deal with the different voices of many, you have a problem. The voices of the past urged violence towards those who were different from the dominant. The dominant was you. But the dominant never gave anything back as it should have in order to continue life.

Vivienne Westwood creates a huge amount of pollution creating thier version of VW that they can market to the high street such as thier logo shirts or printed tshirts. Campaigning for the environment feels like a redundant PR move when the good that Westwood does is completely outweighed by the over-consumption consumer culture she is a part of
