Since it’s launch last year, the Vivo NEX has represented the latest innovations in smartphone tech. Do you think this year’s new features stay true to that DNA?

Well, it promised a lot for sure. But rather than innovations, one can say, it's the improvements that this new phone brings out this time. Like the waterfall display, the absence of physical buttons, faster charging, better cameras and still retaining the good old headphone jack.

I think you just don't like this phone. Instead saying something positive about the device your talking everything negative. I have been using vivo nex 3 for few months now. N I still think it's really good phone at this price point. If you compare to this other devices out there.

I own the Vivo Nex S since its release. Even today many people (customers, I am also a tour guide in Japan) are amazed at the capabilities of this smartphone. However, it takes time to realize all the "hidden" innovations. I will of course buy the NEX 3, because in addition to being technologically top, it has an optimization that I have rarely seen, no matter the brand. I am a lover of photography, when I work I can't take my camera, my Nex S allows me to miss nothing of an interesting scene (in RAW format) while technically this one is far from a dream, photo optimization has nothing to envy to the "best". we have already seen such and such functions before on other smartphones, yes, but few offer them on one and same device. (thanks Google Translate).

120 Watt charge is still a dream and far away from reality. A 44W charge ist by far better then a totally unreliable 120W charge. And believe me power electronics arent ready for something like that yet.

But it doesnt have optical image stabilizers. Which is very useful to reduce shakyness during videography. In conclusion, the videos produced from this phone will differ much from apple flagships and samsung flagships which is more stable and less shaky.

Mmmm , nah , not for me , cool looking phone though , decent camera , the curved edge display ..... remember the 2014 note edge , the curved edge thing has been done to death at this stage , extra points for having a headphone jack ! the power button at the top .... oh dear :( , no proper buttons would have instantly been a deal breaker for me . Other phones we are sadly seeing go down this path too , usability = sucks compared to real buttons imo .

I heard your argument but I completely disagree it's a very complete phone it lacks 2 thongs water resistance and wireless charging for starters water residence isn't important because u can't use it phone in the pool or in the beach witch are the main places u will be using wireless charging u have to buy separately the nex 3 has with a huge 6.9 inch screen without an ugly notch a waterfall display and it is the first to do that sd 855+ a headphone jack vapour cooling chamber 44 watt fast charging 4500 mah battery a decent camera all at 700$ there is only 1 down side of the phone and that is the software if u were to compare it to the mate 30 pro it has faster charging faster chip a full screen with no notch better cooling and a headphone jack
