I don't think people should be using the rear display too much. It's not meant to be used as a main display. So, watching KZbin or using another apps on the rear display makes no sense when you have full screen display at the front. Rear display is meant for camera. That's how vivo wants it's customers to use it

vivo should just disable the second screen on all occasions except when the camera is in use so dummies wouldnt complain about the second screen not being usable when theres a perfectly usable no-notch front screen.

A much better implementation of rear screen functionality. If I am to have a rear panel which costs around 599USD to replace, it better be having this kind of functionality other than just being fragile and shiny.

After update to the latest firmware 1.7.5 version, it includes rear display button support and night mode on camera and video

Imagine doing video calls on a phone with just a mirrored back. You wouldn't be able to see the one you're calling with. Or when people want to use those whack augmented reality face filters, but they can't see how they look like before they take a picture. No, a mirrored back wouldn't be as effective

I think the cell phone market is saturated and this is nothing more than a desperate attempt to get folks to upgrade over and over and over and yes you guessed it OVER again.... Frankly I can't get full use out of my current screen what good is a second screen going to be... I think this is just the next gimmick or craze and won't last long... I like the phones features and I think this company is heading in a good direction, I just think this dual screen is going to be the next BETA Recorder; gone before it's appreciated... Cheers...
