Great video, to the point and covering everything in terms of a long term review. I own the OPPO Find X7 Ultra - Xiaomi 14 Ultra and the Vivo X100 Ultra. They are all great, and they all have something the others don't. (And yes I have a problem, I know😅).

@@bleakoned that is hard to answer, they all have things they do better than the rest. If I have to pick one in terms of an overall rating (excluding the cameras) I'd pick the Vivo. I like OriginOS - the level of customization is next level - literally every little thing is customisable.

For my based on reviews I think that xiaomi has a nice stylized look that is hit or miss, oppo with amazing portrait shots, and vivo with consistency and reliability. How has the battery been between the three of them? Oh and also which has the best display to you in terms of colors and brightness?

Best Smartphone at the moment for Motioncam is Xiaomi 14 Ultra, according to the developers of Motioncam. The reason for this is because the camera api for the Xiaomi 14 Ultra allows for DUAL CONVERSION GAIN, 14 BIT DNG RAW recording, and other mods.

Great video, thanks a lot. One question, with this huge Megapixel amount, how big can I expect the images to be, for day to day photograhy in jpeg? Around 8 mb? I know it can vary depending on what you shoot, I just want to get a rough Feeling.

Yes in character the 14 ultra is better, but the x100 ultra is more reliable, and for shots that require less character like modern buildings it does compete 1 to 1 with the Xiaomi

The brightness is close to eachother in real life, hard to tell the difference, colours also look verrry similar. Hard to really tell a big difference possibly SLIGHT contrast difference

I know the big camera sensors are not gentle with the battery but would you say when using the camera, it drains too fast? Could you, I don't know, for example record a 4k video for 4h or more?

in my opinion, it really comes down to the optimisation of the camera system that really determines the effect on battery. The way I see it, Origin OS is so optimised to the point where by battery drain may as well be minimalistic, such as how the software skin affects gaming

I saw another review saying you can adjust the contrast and saturation on the settings according to your personal preference. So is it or is it not a solution? Can you tell me the downside of it?

Yeah i said tge same^^ but there us a bit more to it then just contrast, brightness, saturation and sharpening. So when it comes to old buildings with a lot of character that's hard to achieve on it without editing the shots, while it will destroy most phones in shots of for instance modern buildings

How does it perform on fast moving objects? Like running people or dogs? I had the s23 ultra for a moment but that one always had execive motion blur on those kind of photos so I got the Pixel 7 pro instead, which did not have that problem. If the x100 ultra is doing well I might buy it to replace my pixel

Kids is hard to say, if you don't use portait it will do well, but i will say google has like some secret sauce for moving objects i noticed, so probably a bit better at it. Might do a comparison if i get the pixel 9 pro in

perfectly fine, it has a snapshot mode for fast moving objects, it has a larger sensor than samsung and it always takes pictures faster than samsung even in auto mode, unless you shot in low light you won't have issues with fast moving objects

@@Conceptcreator voor mijn website gaat het om planten fotografie, close-ups van bloemen en proberen om een bokeh effect achter een plant te krijgen. Veel telefoons kunnen dit niet goed. Daarom hoop ik dat vivo x100 ultra het wel goed kan. Verder vind ik portret fotografie belangrijk. Gebruiken we vaak op vakantie

Vivo x100 still the best camera phones 2024. This phones had most better sensor and settings in hardware. But on software, is really weird for many user. Then vivo x100 will be left by user because this phones had bad design and other things except about camera and performance.

Sold my Vivo, precisely because of the camera. To get a beautiful photo, you have to constantly use the settings. Vivid mode is too bright, natural is too gloomy. Tired of it :-)

I think it's an oversight not to give you profiles to save as you see fit. With xiaomi 14 ultra you can save custom presets. For picture quality it depends. I think they trade blows and neither is better or worse. In general xiaomi 14 ultra has the least amount of sharpening among all the flagships and this stretches to the hdr processing as well, which i personally quite like! HDR processing can look unnatural when not done tastefully. For the more contrast driven look, it's their style together with the unique leica color science. Xiaomi is definitely more versatile with 2 focal tele lenses, both with macro capabilites and a technically better main camera with stepless aperture from 1.6 up to 4! Most people don't know or forget this feature. Also let's not forget the 12mm ultrawide. Shots with the xiaomi have more character, a more distinctive look. Vivo is more of a safe route for a point and shoot experience which you can trust to get a good to great shot nearly every time. Personally for me there is a 4th profile missing between Zeiss natural and textured, as Zeiss natural has to much white in it (gloomy or overexposed).
