I hope they redux the show and keep Monty’s portion of the work and have new writers for the parts afterwards. Barb was apparently writing and voicing Yang and there’s definitely a slight change of style that didn’t feel right to me.

@@JoeSchmmo I believe it was Barb who ended up with Monty’s write ups and story boards for Rwby, and while I know there were some fully fleshed out seasons,… season 5 and beyond didn’t feel like Monty’s story anymore. Adam’s demise was appropriate but felt poorly timed imo. Some of the other plot points felt, almost rushed. Almost like it didn’t entirely fit with the characters as they were being set up in the first 4 seasons. Maybe I’m paranoid but it definitely felt like there was less and less of Monty’s influence on the series as it continued. RIP: Monty Oum.

The anime might be a lil' rebooted, in a way. Just from speculation for control on how the path will go forward for them. But, Volume 10 is going to be the make/break for the series return at this point. If they bounce back better than they were at RT, then they're golden. But, if Viz does/changes too much to where it's not what we've been expecting/looking forward to. Then, it might be more of a flop than an investment

@@JoeSchmmo And, they truly don't deserve that after all they've been through. But if all goes well, I'm looking forward to the motion for the animation. It should get a boost in quality knowing Viz, but we'll wait and see

@JoeSchmmo Oh, for sure. We already know how much hype alone is going for season 10 w the return to the aftermath. But, the community also knows that despite what they've been through, the team knows they HAVE to deliver for themselves and the community.
