Best German Island Airport with short walk to the beach and city is Wangerooge EDWG. Airport is direct at town center and beaches. Best German Island with nice town, shopping, good restaurants is Norderney EDWY. (my personal no 1, even if there is a short drive from airport to town) Number 3 is Borkum EDWR. Big Island, super beaches, crossed runways for different wind directions. Don't know, why you landed in Juist, if the good ones are on the left and right

Haha c'est un pilote de ligne. Il n'est pas (encore) super à l'aise dans un monomoteur au-dessus de la mer. Et oui, nous savions que le terrain était fermé. Nous avions déjà anticipé le déroutement sur Juist :-)

Nice video (and aircraft !). Island is called Helgoland EDXH. Been there a couple of times. Highly recommended, and even better to stay overnight. On Dune (where the airfield is) there is a good chance you will see lots of seals, within walking distance of the airfield. How cool is that ?
