I love the idea of Vlad having a Haram of wives. I imagine one wife is older then the others (adult or elder) and is considered the “head wife” and she’s very proper and classy and loves to have authority over the other wives because she’s been with Vlad the longest and always tells them what to do. then one day Vlad brings in this new young adult sim who is very high energy and peppy and not proper at all and the head wife just instantly HATES her so the two constantly butt heads all the time and the other wives just love to sit back watch the drama (mainly because it keeps head wife off of their backs).

When I read Vivian Vande Velde's Companions of the Night years ago, she had that vampires can change their hair, but it would essentially reset eventually back to the length that it was when they became a vampire. So, if you had short hair at that point, there's nothing much to do.

Regarding Vampires travelling: In Vampire the Masquerade, Beckett's Jyhad Diary, Beckett turned a private pilot to his ghoul, basically made him drink his blood and in doing so, bound the pilot to himself as his servant. So he is travelling by a private jet inside a coffin. So that's possible lol

I am absolutely here for the vampire what-ifs. I think wigs would be extremely in and necessary for vampires who made mistakes or lost their hair in feuds, and a vampire with long, authentic hair would be a power status symbol. House looks really good too!

Even if your sim's relationship info doesn't include their other partners and you can be married to only one person, it's still cool that you can have working poly ships in game, especially with that one trait that doesn't make your sim's partners feel jealous. And if you wanna go nuts with harems, creating a club will help with that lol... I had fun watching my single sim's relationship drama when I made her join a woohoo club xD

with the neighborhood action plans you can have open love, which is the closest you can get to poly in the game, it stops the sims from getting jealous and they will flirt and go on dates with anyone who isn't related to them without consequence!

I know I'm super late but in Dracula, the titular character actually did have to be in a coffin when he traveled from Transylvania to England! Partly because vampires have to go back to the ground they were buried in when they rest, and Dracula brought 50 coffins of gravedirt with him, with one coffin with him in it. But he'd come out at night to feast on the blood of the sailors of the boat taking him across the sea to England.

4:29 If I'm remembering correctly, Dracula travelled in a coffin on the belowdecks of a boat. So I'm guessing they WOULD be treated like luggage! Except instead of a suitcase, they would be in a coffin. Though I guess that's more of a preference thing?

Some vampire lore kind of messes with the hair stuff, doing basically the opposite of what you're describing - in Interview with the Vampire (at least the movie, haven't read the book yet), in the scene with Claudia having a mental breakdown about being a permanent child, it appears that hair grows back nearly instantly when it gets cut off. I find that kinda fun. Still, probably equally devastating, depending on how long it takes - imagine being a vampire, getting a nice haircut that you actually like, and then it just freakin pops back to normal again. Just straight up resetting to however long it was when you turned. Oh boy. _imagine turning at a time when you had a terrible haircut_

I think you could probably have poly relationships if the sims have the trait from sleeping around a lot. As you can tell, though, I haven’t tried because I can’t remember the name of anything. But you could cheat the trait onto them and try it.

Based on pop culture and folk lore vampires that we know of between Twighlight, the 30 days of night, Count Dracula, Nosferatu, and strigois to be the most terrifying, id say the strigoi based on the show The Strain is the most terrifying. You'd have to be on guard every night, keep tabs on family members and for the ones who go missing they will most likely show up one day to kill and convert you because they always go back home for that reason hunting down their family members before going after others, they can survive all seasons and they don't care if humans know they exist because eventually their numbers will become astronomical, they can live in major cities in the sewers, they don't even have to come near you to attack because not only are they fast but they shoot a siphon out from their throat to puncture you that simultaneous feeds from you as well as infecting you through the passing of hive minded worms from their body that will start the process in you, they're physically more revolting than other vampires and are built for the hunt, not to mention they act like pack animals, and lets not forget the specialty blind children ones who are nearly impossible to get away from.

It wouldn’t be cheap, because you’d have to purchase all the seats on the plane, but maybe there is a website where you could sell seats for that flight to recoup some of the cost, but only people who are vampires or related to vampires could buy tickets.

If you like vampires and you havent read anne rices novels you are missing out big time. He version of vampires is my all time favorite, theyre beautiful in dim light at a distance, but up close and in bright lighting they are horrifying to look at because they are so uncanny. Theyre basically impossible to kill, even the sun alone wont finish the job because if you dont scatter the ashes there is a real possibility of them coming back from the dead. I love all of the complex lore shes worked into her vampires and i cant reccomend it more

If you have all the time in the world you can just ask a realtor to get you a new house with a cellar or other non-windowed room, sacrifice one night for international flight and then just order your stuff to your new digs or order another servant human to go shopping.
