I will always love the Vladigerov piano concertos, they were how I discovered your channel and for me they will be the first step into my love for composers who aren't played anything like as much as they should be!!! Fantastic piece...

A remarkable achievement. Would it were more widely known and recognized. Thank you for posting-especially with scrolling score!

Superbe du début à la fin ce concerto ! Il devrait être célèbre, il est d'une musicalité extraordinaire et mérite que l'on s'y attache et le réécoute....

Who is the publisher of the sheet music shown here? Is it public domain (I don't care either way - great upload!)?

As far as I know, the entire cycle was recorded right after Vladigerov's death and distributed on vinyl only. The recording industry of Bulgaria back then didn't care much about classical music and the already available recording technologies of the West were forbidden. Many moments of the concerto are poorly recorded and nuances of background tempi/expressions are lost.

Please refrain from making dull comments, almost propaganda like, on information you are not familiar with. Bulagria cared a lot more about classical music back then during Todor Zhivkov being General Secretary. Musicians and the Bulagiran Union of Composers was way better than it is now. Classical and Estrade music was very popular and most people were very familiar. Today less people are familiarized. Please STOP SPREADING PROPAGANDA AMERICAN BULLSHIT
