Breaking Demonic Strongholds in Your Mind
The word stronghold appears only once in the New Testament. (1 Cor 10v4-5)
1. Strongman lives in the stronghold. (Mt 12v29)
Demons are cast out; strongholds are cast down.
Demons are removed by being CAST OUT (Mt 8v16; 9v33; 10v1; 10v8; 12v28; Mark 1v34; 1v39; 3v15; 6v13; 16v9; 16v17; Luke 13v32).
2. The devil wants to destroy your life and build your mindset.
The devil will use the moments to make mindsets.
7 minds mentioned in the Bible:
Right mind (Mark 5v15)
Sober-mind (Titus 1v8)
Sound mind (2 Tim 1v8)
Spiritual mind (Rom 8v6)
Anxious mind (Luke 12v29)
Debased mind (Rom 128)
Carnal mind (Rom 8v6)
The Name of Jesus removes demons; strongholds are broken by the Truth of Jesus. (Jn 8v32; 36)
3. Stronghold is the devil’s work; destroying it will take time. Be patient.
Demons are cast out fairly quickly, but strongholds are broken over time. (1 Jn 3v8)
4. Your mind doesn’t change when your life gets better. (Rom 12v2)
5. Stop believing that you can’t control your thoughts. (Phil 4v8; Prov 23v7)
6. Take every thought captive like a prisoner of war. (2 Cor 10v5-6)
Capture your thoughts before you can make them captive.
Take your thoughts captive; don’t be captive to your thoughts.
Train your thoughts instead of trusting them.
7. Don’t empty your mind; fill it with the truth. (Ps 1v2)
What you feed your mind becomes your mindset.
You can’t control your mindset, but you can control what you feed your mind with.
8. Confess what you believe, not what you feel.
9. Expect God to show up, not the devil.
10. Take care of your brain.
Your mind thinks. Your brain is what you think with.

I was tormented over 30 years. When I turn my life over to the Lord, it took time to get rid of the strongholds. I heard someone say once it’s like the Jews going into the promised land. They had to clean out an area then move in, clean out an area and continue to move in and repeat. Otherwise wild beasts would take over. I felt it was like that. Perseverance has brought me along way. I still struggle a little bit, but I know who I am in Christ and I start praising the Lord and, claiming his word.

This is how I’ve felt for a long time. I feel like I’ve been in the wilderness for 40 years… Disobedience, fear, unforgiveness, toxicity and many more things cause these strongholds and the enemy uses them against you! Once I believed and had faith my blindfold started to fall off my eyes and heart, I’m not dealing with my mind as much as before because I constantly praise God for how far He has brought me, I’m forever grateful for allowing God in my life and coming to Him 1st thing when I wake up. I thank Him for the gift of life each day and I ask Him to guide me through the day.

I’m doing the Daniel fast right now and the piece about what we’re eating was so convicting. I’m asking the Lord to heal my acne but constantly eat sugar, fast food, little sleep and exercise, not enough water etc. The fast is challenging because it’s revealing some of my natural craving for unhealthy processed foods but I cannot have healing until I honor the temple God is to heal. Let's pray for everyone desperately trying to forgive and give Jesus all the pain and everything, but there's just SO much pain, they feel like they cannot see, think, or Even breathe. I know SO MANY sincere children of God who have spent years devoted to God, interceding, fasting, serving- walking in Love- who have become so beat up and worn down that they seem on the edge of whether or not they are making it through to the next day. There's a verse about the enemy/antichrist wearing down the saints of God. I believe we're seeing this. Psalm 27:13-14 [13] I had fainted, Unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. [14] Wait on the LORD: Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. Some of us need God to wipe our memory and give us a Sea of Forgetfulness to stop being crushed and destroyed, stop the non-stop hurting from extremely painful memories. We need to FIGHT the Good Fight of Faith and REFUSE to be victims
