TAKEAWAY NOTES FROM TONIGHT’S STREAM:
1. The Bible focuses on walking in purity more than on how one should date.
Purity is being without mixture.
It’s an issue of the heart, not the body. Ps.24v4; Mt. 5v8
It’s not a point you reach but a pursuit after God.
2. The Bible focuses more on being the right person than on finding the right person.
3. The Bible limits our options to “ONLY IN THE LORD” when it comes to who is the right person we should be with. (2 Corinthians 6v14)
4. The Bible doesn’t teach that God plays a lottery with relationships, He gives liberty to marry whom we wish. (1 Corinthians 7v39)
• It’s better to wait for God to bring the right person than to wait for God to fix the wrong person you bring to God.
• Don’t be blind to what you see during dating: a spoonful in dating will be tons in marriage.
• Before we get married, we tend to focus on what we want; but when we are married, we will be focused on what we need.

I couldn't agree more with you. I was sexually abused and humiliated as a child and grew up incapable of dating or having a gf. Although I felt the physical desire for sex I was also scared to even try to do it. I never dated successfully so that it became a dating relationship. So I retreated inward and engaged in fantasy and self pleasuring. Now I am in recovery and the cure includes no dating and no sexual activity. I am single and celibate and abstinent. I'm finally at peace knowing this is the life I want for me now!

I am 41 years old never thought about marriage or settling down because I was always having to much fun lusting for women at the night clubs for half my life. I say this with all respect. On the question of should you marry someone from different culture? If you are believers, you are citizens of the kingdom. Your marriage, decisions are Christ centred. If you are born again and the other person is born again , you solve your problems with your knees. Through prayers , fasting loving each other as Christ loved us. Thank you Lana and Vlad This was a blessing especially being reminder the importance of not rushing into things when you are single and dating . I’m turning 38 on Sunday and I’ve been through one marriage and other relationships that have failed multiple times . However , I’m grateful for content like this that reminds me it’s ok to be single and serving the Lord until that special time for the right person by first becoming the right person through the word of God . And praying to finish my bachelors degree in seminary and to share the gospel !

🥺🥺🥺!! I wish i saw this video much earlier! I went on and dated someone that is not in the Lord, got into fornication and later got a daughter...my daughter is only 5 months old, i decided to leave her father (who was at the time my fiancee)not because his a bad person but because we were unequally yoked and he is not in the Lord i lacked the peace of God and never knew it...i was so sure God would change him along the way..i forced him to come to the lord and love him but i learnt the hard way that am not the convictor of the hearts of men!!😂😂! Next time god willing,i will be on guard and instead of looking for certain qualities,God should help me work on my character and qualities! Thank you so much for sharing this pastor vlad and lady Lana!

This was really revealing to me thank you so much.. my Ex dumped me and crazy enough she is the reason why I honestly came to the feet of God and have giving myself even more to him about 2 years ago we went to the same church and I started to get more into touch to the Lord and guess what a lot of negativity started to happen to myself and then we grew apart. She was and is very knowledgeable about the Bible but I found out she is dating someone who is part of the Yoruba religion or the man she is dating now practices Santeria just like her ex who she had a son with prior to me. This makes a lot of sense to me now so glad I came across this video things are just making a lot of sense to me now that I am single I want to establish a relationship with God not with a woman. Amen 🙏🏻
