www.vladtv.com - In the midst of Suge Knight's murder trial, producer and rapper Cold 187um takes a look back at his past and explains how the former record executive "got consumed with who he thought he was supposed to be, and forgot who he actually was."
Big Hutch says Suge's depiction in the N.W.A. biopic "Straight Outta Compton" wasn't really that far-fetched, being that everyone who knows of him even a little bit is aware of his violent ways and can agree that "he looked like him" in the film. "Like when a guy gets beat up for the parking space, that's not far from who Suge is," he rationalizes. "So, what are you gonna say? That's not really far from who you are..."
The Above the Law artist does admit Suge "comes from a good place in his heart," calling him a "pleasant" guy to be around when he wasn't taking his infamous hands-on approach. Watch as Cold 187um speaks on the day Terry Carter was killed, and why Suge Knight "didn't even need to be there" in our latest clip.

suge never got over pac's death real talk, I think he kinda blamed himself deep down for putting that battery in pac and everything ending up the way it did. it turned into bitterness and hatred that manifested itself in the negativity that he wasn't able to separate himself from.

if suge had as much power as people think he had than he wouldn't be in the situations that he is in now, not even talkin about the murder charge, just from a business standpoint. he wasn't running the security company "wright way security" reggie wright was. suge was a pawn in the grand scheme, he never really matured past that phase in his life.

This is Suge statement : The 50-year-old former Death Row Records CEO says Ice Cube and Dr. Dre, who serve as executive producers, defamed his character by making him appear “soft” in the film. In a statement released by his lawyer Knight stated: “That entire story was bullsh*t. You think I let Eazy get off that easy? I beat that man within an inch of his life before he signed those papers. I was knocking dudes out daily. If they are gonna show Suge, then they need to show the real Suge. I’ve been the realist gangsta in this biz from day one, and I gonna be the realist until the casket drops. Y’all know Dre ain’t built like that. Y’all really think I let that man scream in my face like that? I would’ve rearranged his face if he ever took that tone with me. He also didn’t just leave Death Row like that. He cried like the little bitch he is begging me to let him keep his music, but I Debo’ed that and it wasn’t a damn thing he was going to do about. He was a mark then and he is a mark now. I ran the entire California rap music scene for decades. No one on any label made a move without my say so. I don’t know who that soft n*gga was in that movie, but it wasn’t Suge Knight.” His mad that his was soft and now his trying to get off by saying that he didn't do anything.

Vlad, why weren't you doing all of these Suge talks when Suge was out? Something feels bitch made about all of this...seems like you're trying to get people to shit on Suge. That man built an empire. I don't know the man, but I know them guys built something from nothing. As a Black entrepreneur I gotta respect at least some of that. If we respect the Clintons and Bushes and Kennedy's you gotta respect Suge. I don't respect them though but I respect some of the man's business.

Rob Johnson Rob, I'll have you know I am a HUGE fan of Vladtv. Watch and listen to it everyday. He does a great service as far as keeping me updated on people's hip hop wisdom and foolishness, that being said, I have yet to hear him say anything positive about Suge. Suge got Dre out of his contract and helped LOTS of people get on. He beat up a lot of folks and sic'd dogs on people and killed some folks but I hear he saved some people's lives too. You gotta mention the good and the bad I think. You actually don't have to do shit, but it just would be nice if you did mention some of his good qualities instead of always depicting him in a negative person in each interview. That's all I'm saying. I'm gonna watch vladtv no matter what because it's exclusive shit, but it's just shitty the way Suge is portrayed in ALL vladtv interviews except that cold 187 dude.

Big Hutch is a smart brother & a great producer, I heard about also all the good things that suge did for his Compton neighborhood, like the annual mother day ceremony, the turkey thanks giving give away, the Compton toy give away, visiting sick kids in the hospital, feeding the homeless, I have heard before from people suge at the beginning was a cool guy like a big brother, but what happen was when Death Row got mega successful the money, the sucess & the fame got to suge head SOOOOOOOOO MUCH that he wanted to be some Compton mob piru blood street thug ceo mogul smoking cigars looking tough & a lot of times using fear, threats, intimidation & violence to get what he wanted & need, I am a nuwaupian (Wu-Nuwaupu is a ancient African culture & heritage) who love our people & teach our people knowledge of self, so I hope suge is able to be a peace with his self & our people , get knowledge of self as a black man , but I have said to people like hutch said suge is going to get some serious time, he may not get life, but I think he is going to get at least 20 years or a little more in prison.

@ 7:05, give or take several seconds or so, everyone's praising Suge as this so-called "generous" guy, one who'll look out 4 others Robin Hood-style, YET, Afeni Shakur (Tupac's mother) publicly stated after Tupac's death, paraphrasing her here: "....I'll spend every penny of his [Tupac's] money (on legal fees) to get what's due to him [from Death Row]!" ...money she was awarded by the way $$$......NOW, how is it that Suge was so "generous", when this is how he financially treated someone he claimed was "...like a little brother to me?" 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
