Part 18: goo.gl/gzro4d
Part 1: goo.gl/KFFeMD
-----
In this clip, Mob James talked about the realization that his set wasn't what he thought it was. He said after his brother's death which came at the hands of his own homies he could no longer be affiliated with the set. Mob James explained how early on he was physically, and emotionally entrenched in the streets even disrespecting his mother over his hood. But saw after his brother was murdered what his homies' true colors were.

This guy is weak and is a defeated man. I've noticed throughout these interviews, his sole basis for denouncing the gang life is because he didn't financially benefit from any of it. Most of the former gang members from the LA members who changed their lives over for the better used their respect to uplift and educate those younger than them and created financial independence for themselves. Mob James is still upset about checks, cars and being shouted out on 2Pac songs. Over 20 yrs later and he has continuous watery eyes in front of a white man about what another man (Suge) did or didn't do for you. He's despicable in my opinion.

...Somebody tried to talk to you... You did not listen... When you speak to youngsters and try to school them many of them won't listen either... That is the warpness of the brain to not heed warnings of self destruction... Mob James is hurt over what he has encountered with gangbanging... If you had gotten a CHECK following your brother's death would you feel better?.. If it was not your friends who killed your brother would you feel better?... Your brother and other friends are still gone and gone in dishonorabl ways... Unfortunately, this man is still thinking about dollars... So, no one ever told you that if you acquire money the wrong way that it is fleeting... All of you and your old gangster friends made lots of money according to you... Yet, you spent your money, stupidly, on drugs, fast women, drugs, guns, gold chains, low-riders and shit that meant nothing.... Of course you don't have anything... You must work for what you earn, spend well, and invest well... Ya'll were just a bunch of thugs with no skills using violence to get what you wanted terrorizing your neighborhood, community, and city in the process... You caused others to live in hell and pain on Earth and now that hell and pain has to come back to you... You sowed that seed... That murderous skill could only land you nowhere but in the big house, hospital, wheelchair, grave, and ultimately hell... You have what you earned in life and life is more than money... It is love, joy, happiness, family, and reward for a job well done... It is the fullfilment of your purpose on this Earth.... It is maximizing the gifts that your creator gave you and making a better world instead of taring the world down... All that other crap leads to pain and loss and hardness of life... Again, I am happy that Mob James has decided to denounce gang life and try to salvage the life he has left... However, the repercussions of that life will and must catch up... Now he must forfill his brother's worth and anyone else's whose life was taken because of his involvement in their demise whether he pulled the trigger or not...

This is just like my retired OGs in the hood. They all feel let down and are heartbroken. They don't even want revenge anymore. They just want apologies for having backs turned on them and being told on and lied too. You can see the hurt in their eyes how they truly believed in the Game and stayed loyal and got none of it back in return. The streets are a myth. It don't love nobody. There is no loyalty. Your homies will kill you, rob you, snitch and try and fuck your wife. The streets don't carry your casket or bail you outta jail. All the streets do is take take take. But it never really gives. It gives fast money, hoes and fake respect that it takes away quicker than it gives. With all the knowledge we have access to in 2019 only a fool would take the route of the streets. The streets are done.
