Uncontrolled Substance is dope, but it's definitely not as good as who Inspectah Deck truly is; he truly is himself on Da Mystery of Chessboxin, Protect Ya Neck, Above the Clouds, Guillotine (Swordz), Triumph, etc. Him saying that the album had a completely different sound than the Uncontrolled Substance we know of today means that the album would have been up there with Liquid Swords and OB4CL. RZA probably produced the majority of the beats on it. Plus, it was supposed to be released at the time the other clan members' solo albums came out. Fuckin depressed.

I’m say this and I don’t care what anyone says or thinks. It’s not a coincidence he didn’t get a lot of support from his fellow group members. Dude was bodying verses every chance he got, them dude didn’t even want to rap after him at times. Meaning it was intimidating rapping after this guy, so to get on a song with him chance are you are not going to have the best verse dudes probably didn’t want that smoke

It's fucked up when you support your team and when its your time to bat no one is there for you. SAD.

He had best verse on - protect ya neck, triumph and cream - arguably their three most famous songs. And his verse on careful (click click) is one of my favourite across the whole back catalogue. To me he is one of their best. he’s level with the 5 who had the hit albums, just doesn’t have the album

Damn this is heartbreaking.. fucked but still has the greatest opening verse in hiphop history. Still a legend. Could’ve been the biggest star but stays cool. Wow

Decks debut album in 95 would've been fuckin dope. I still think that if both u-god/masta killa released their debut albums in 96' after gfk's ironman, they would be classics as well. Same goes for rza. Bobby digital in stereo woulda been way doper if he recorded/released it in 97' before wutang forever album. The thing is that he was also making music with the gravediggaz as well, which they released 2 albums w/rza in 94' & 97'.

Heartbreaking Every time I hear This Story. It was lost in the flood but be assured it still exists in The Galaxy.

Makes me wish that USB flash drives were a thing back then. I've had flash drives that survived some shit, and I was able to salvage a lot of old stuff. Floppies and Zip disks were horrible back then 😭
