Damien F How exactly did King ruin Tyson 'more than just financially'. Specifically? Please enlighten me. The answer is that he didn't. Tyson's problems were all his own making, blaming King for his downfall is just a tired excuse by Tyson fans. He surrounded himself with shady characters like Horne and Holloway from his neighbourhood and started living like a rapper more than a boxer. It was all his own decisions though.

Ok, but he never talks about how he did his trainers Kevin Rooney or Teddy Atlas dirty. Or specifically addresses the muggings(of women) he is known to have committed as a youth. Mike was an inspiration when he was boxing (for anyone who trained boxing, kickboxing, wrestled, did MMA) and even more so now. He has tamed his demons and shows everyone that you do not have to accept your "programming." Mike used to have anger issues, was violent, did lots of drugs, etc. and he has made a 180. Heck, at times he is spiritual. He is showing the world that you can change, improve, do better. I hope he enjoys his newfound happiness and gets more of it.

As I'm laughing my ass off while visualising the story that Mike is telling, it dawns on me, that one of the reasons why I love this guy so much is his capacity to completely acknowledge and apologise for his previous transgressions while, simultaneously, telling the story as if IN the moment; recollecting his frame of mind at the time of the incident which, in my opinion, is why he always giggles while telling these stories. I freakin' love it.

People love Mike cause you can see him evolve as a human being, combined with his brutal honesty.....honest to a fault, but honest as can be. Mike learns from his mistakes (eventually) and makes no bones about admitting it and having remorse and apologizing. We all see a bunch of ourselves in Mike. He's a champion in the ring, and we get the privilege of watching him. one by one. beat the demons that have kept him down.....even if it's himself sometimes. It's nice to see Mike continue to stack wins in his life.....we all still like to see Mike win! You gotta just love this guy.

Mike has experienced a lot in life. From all that, he's come to a better place and without any lingering desires for drugs. He's embarrassed the heck out of himself before all the world, and come out a better man. The young immature dude has grown into a mature man comfortable in his own skin today. I think he looks back on all his bad experiences and is just thankful to God he didn't die early while on the train wreck of a life path he had followed.

I have an amazing story. One time I was driving home and I felt the presence of the Lord, come down to me from above. I started getting chills and I felt so comfortable with Him. I knew if I asked Him to play a song on the radio, He would. So I said "Ok Lord, play Come as you are..." I didn't know what station it was on or anything, but I turned the radio on and the song started playing right on the spot, perfectly... I started getting flooded with chills inside, and started crying. When I got home, He stayed with me for 10 minutes till I got out of the car. I've been getting answered prayers for around 5 years since, because that visitation eliminated doubt and I follow Biblical instructions as best as I can.
