The ‘funniest’ thing about people like Ricky is that to be as big as he was, there’s no doubt he had to do some gruesome stuff to protect his assets and his empire…that’s just a given. It’s kinda crazy how someone can through all that and seem normal. Let alone what he probably experienced in prison. This dude is very calm cool and collected. For lack of a better word, that’s a little scary.

Back in the day when Freeway had work, he dressed like a regular dude. No jewelry, no Fancy clothes, no Jeep Wangoner like all the other ballers were rolling. That’s why the police didn’t know who he was. Then he bought all the Procaine from New World in Inglewood and started doing one-to-two and messed the game up. @@isharee3039 they started breaking the bricks down and adding half Procaine snd recompress the brick make two Kilos out of one. Which was stretching it to much because when you would rock it up in the beekers half would dissolve. And if you could get it too get hard, the dudes on the corner would complain because it would melt in the baggies. If you listen to the BMF Series, Southwest Tee would take out 3 ounce/Kilo and recompress and Meech found out his brother was stealing from him

One of my close friends that came up in that era from Los Angeles got cracked in New Orleans and did 11.5 years and told me “Going To Prison Saved His Life” and it took me awhile to understand it. Because once the streets dried up in 1989-90, Ballers was getting kidnapped, robbed and they family members. The good thing once he got out of prison he ran from dudes trying to front him work to get back in the game. He was able to build a different type of business and never went back to the streets
