Because of all those beefs the industry don’t really mess with 50 and them. 50 didn’t play the game and try to be everyone’s friend so the fact they haven’t had any help and still be relevant now is crazy!! One of the most iconic hip hop groups ever!!!
@dmoney541002 жыл бұрын
I get what you’re trying to say .. But you are Beyond incorrect… “The haven’t had any help” .. G unit Literally has the Hottest producer Ever (Dr Dre) and The Greatest Lyricist Of All Time (Eminem) Behind them … So to say they didn’t have any help when they had the hottest 2 guys at their position ever is Crazy to say Lmao
@KC187882 жыл бұрын
@@dmoney54100 I was referring specifically to the era after Shady/Aftermath. They were at one point on one of the biggest platforms and with the biggest machine behind them. That wasn’t my point and perhaps I didn’t make it clear. However after 50 fell out with Jimmy Iovine and he no longer had the machine behind him like he used to and it’s clear his enemies could finally go back on top or rise. We saw this with Rick Ross, Khaled, French etc. None of them really mess with 50 at all and he was kind of shut out, he doesn’t even go to the whole Roc Nation Branches and kiss Jay’s ass like the rest do because he and the Unit had always stood alone and didn’t play the industry game of being everyone’s friend. It’s only now that new breed has come through that they mess with 50 heavy, Pop Smoke as an example and all the other young boys because they really grew up to his music or influenced by it more so than his enemies. Overall the fact that 50 could beef with so many people and still be relevant without so much support after the whole Dre/Em era is incredible. It’s only because through television and shows like Power that his impact on the culture is so big they can’t deny it but even now, how many awards has it won? They don’t want to fully give him his due because they don’t like him is what I mean, so you see the divide, 50 is always with the outcasts, underdogs or up and coming. Only Fat Joe really and a few others are now starting to give him his props but you can make the argument that it only goes back to all those beefs he had to begin with.
