Comedian Tony Rock shared a harrowing experience from his youth involving his oldest brother, Shabazz. Tony recounted a troubling incident from junior high when a confrontation with an older student over a girl led to a gun being pulled on him. Tony sought help from his brother Shabazz, who was notorious for being fiercely protective and had a criminal background. His older brother Charles was an alcoholic and died of pneumonia while living in a homeless shelter. He was their half brother who was not fortunate enough to have gone to the racist Whites school Tony went to. Their family is a perfect example of how small the impact of racism is. Every one of the siblings who attended the racist school was successfully raised to live respectable lives as decent ppl. The first born, who missed that opportunity, literally became a murderer and an addict and was homeless when he died. Vlad should have asked him if his brother's victims were Black.

smh. the racism was not small. first of all, racism is the whole reason why their neighborhood was so dangerous and ended up influencing the brother. aside from that, just because chris and tony have money doesnt mean they dont have deep seated issues from their youth. chris is literally always talking about race in his standups, and a lot of stuff that he's said leads me to believe that the way white people view him is important to him. and he delt with physical abuse at those racist schools. the exepriences he had have had a lasting effect of him, regardless of him being rich.
