Lord Jamar is right: it's about ending police brutality, not Colin Kaepernick's employment. When Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on the bus to a white man it wasn't about the bus company staying in business or not or saving Rosa a seat on the next bus, it was about equal treatment and protection for All American citizens regardless of race or gender.

Thank you Lord Jamar I have been saying this from day one he was supposed to be kneeling to protest police brutality and the NFL can't do anything about police brutality the issue has been hijacked and the leader of the movement hasn't come out to speak about what he kneeled for in the first place.
@AnoNymous-ek1wr
@AnoNymous-ek1wr 5 жыл бұрын
It's even crazier that he didnt start sitting then kneeling until he got benched for Blane Gabbert's sorry behind. Kaep was showing out his first few years in the league, all swagged out on awards shows. Then his coach goes to Michigan. The new coach can't figure out how to use his skill set properly. Benches him...now he want to be a political voice?

This is all BS and they're purposely diluting the timeline and the authenticity of those said "JOB OFFERS" / 'OPPORTUNITIES Kaepernick had supposedly squandered. All those said opportunities came with a caveat,, which was,were and still are... STOP the kneeling and we'll think about it. (STOP STANDING FOR WHAT YOU FEEL NEEDS TO BE STOOD FOR.) 1.The 49ers were due to pay Kaep 12mil the following season after the kneeling took place and once after the season where the kneeling occurred,, they mutually agreed it'd be best for both parties for Kaep to opt-out and go into free agency (which is where the unbenounced to Colin the "blackballing" would began. 2. The 49ers issued Kaep with an ultimatum as did other teams who before he knelt did (such as the Denver Broncos who were interested in trading for Kaep before the kneeling ) STOP YOUR PROTEST AND WE'LL THINK ABOUT OFFERING YOU A JOB. 3. Yes Kaep did where a Fidel Castro shirt while still being a/the QB for the 49ers as well as some socks in which depicted "SOME" cops as pigs to which he also received backlash for. These things took place well before there was any team with a known vested interest in the QB,, The Dolphins,Broncos or really any other franchise for that matter weren't even believed to be after Kaepernick at the time of the wearing of the shirt,, I believe he wore at a training came press conference or something of that sort. He later apologized to the Cuban community for not being as well-versed as he should've been on Castro who was more than one thing (like we all are but he did some horrific things to the Cuban population) . THIS IS ALL PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE. DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING THESE CATS SPEW THE MAJORITY OF THE SO-CALLED "DETRACTORS" OF KAEPERNICK AND HIS STANCE ARE MORALLY-COMPROMISED AND ARE IN THE SLANDER BUSINESS SIMPLY FOR SOCIAL AND EVEN FINANCIAL GAIN AMONG OTHER THINGS SUCH AS MARCELOUS WILEY WHO WAS ONCE AN AVID KAEP SUPPORTER ON A STATION (FOX) WHO GENERALLY LEAN AGAINST GUYS SUCH AS THE KAEP'S OF THE WORLD. NOW HE'S (WILEY) HAS GOING AS FAR AS TO SAY THAT KAEP DOESN'T UNDERSTAND THE TRUE PLIGHT OF THE BLACK MAN IN AMERICA DUE TO HAVING WHITE PARENTS ADOPT HIM ... REALLY?!!!!!!! WHAT AN PISS POOR ARGUMENT TO MAKE. I DONT CARE WHAT SHADE OR WHO YOU WERE RAISED BY THE WORLD AND AMERICA HAS A WAY AT THE MOST INOPPORTUNE TIMES OF REMINDING YOU OF THE THE FACT THAT IF YOU AREN'T WHITE YOU'RE BLACK. @DJVLAD

@@truthteller5521 oh God, you're one of those people who think he did that because he got "benched" Kap never got benched. He had 3 surgeries in the off-season and was rehabbing those 3 surgeries. Kap initially sat during the national anthem. You know who was a starter and sat during the anthem? Marshawn Lynch. You know who kneels during the anthem and starts? Eric Reid and Kenny Stills. It has nothing to do with who starts or who's benched. If Kap wouldn't have kneeled, he still would have got a job somewhere because he's more talented than a lot of QBs in the league right now. The NFL needed to be dealt with collectively based upon the blatant disrespect and disregard of Black Thought and Life. They went out their way to make an example out of our brothers who took a stand for us. We will always be looked at as weak and will not get any respect until we respond with the same unity and power against entities like the NFL. It’s not about the NFL but they jumped on the front line and took major shots at us and must be dealt with accordingly.

B T I know more whites get shot by police than blacks because of sheer numbers. But disproportionately blacks are killed more than whites. If you seen so many whites getting shot unjustifiably then you also should be standing with kap(the cause). It’s been over 600 police shootings resulting in death and almost zero accountability!!
@joelvance4969

B T go back to my earlier comment when I said whites are killed more by sheer numbers by the police. Blacks don’t own major media companies. Whether it’s shown or not it’s still wrong and shows a lack of accountability. Furthermore blacks don’t need the media to tell us because blacks been saying this from the beginning well before kap. Also you want to point out the extremes because police brutality is not limited to just killings it also involves mistreatments, beatings, and over charging in which blacks are disproportionately targeted.

1.The 49ers were due to pay Kaep 12mil the following season after the kneeling took place and once after the season where the kneeling occurred,, they mutually agreed it'd be best for both parties for Kaep to opt-out and go into free agency (which is where the unbenounced to Colin the "blackballing" would began.

Cap was riding the high of his breakout SB appearance season with 49ers. He was never going to surpass that. He just fell down to reality. People riding hard for Kap even though he signed a more expensive deal with Nike that most NFL players who love to have. No sympathies for this guy. Also, reports came out showing blacks are not more likely to be assaulted or worse by white cops than black cops. Is it an issue? Absolutely, but it is mostly a highly propagandized issue that is sugar coated to fit certain narratives.
