He paved the way for generations of young Black NBA players to leverage their skills and image into massive deals. However if given the chance, Michael Jordan would have "closed the door" behind him to keep those opportunities exclusive to himself. His lack of vocal advocacy for social issues or direct mentorship to help others rise on a similar path is exactly his personal legacy. Additionally, I respect Aries as a thinker and comedian. You never present your comedy without a level of intellectual measure and sharpness. It's Black genius in blending humor with depth of vernacular. Definitely one of the greatest in the game.
