why can every race/culture shit even countries within those diasporas have THEIR own music, but we cant claim hip hop? this wouldnt even be a valid argument at one point -- literally sound CRAZY. Hip hop is universal and inclusive, but we NEED gatekeepers. look what happened to rock and roll and our other genres. EVERYONE WELCOMED but recognize where u at. Thats like if we started to enter the Mariachi circuit , they gon look at us crazy.. Im sorry but i dont take west coast racial politics serious, our blacks out there forgot their rich history in black activism smh
@idreesknocks9178

dude is so cooked gets me hot. OUR OWN people are saying hip hop dont belong to us and wonder why we dont own shit, inclusive to EVERYONE. not including someone in certain aspects dont make u racist or a hater. Every culture stands for their people first THEN for the whole community second (as it should be). Hispanics advocated for more representation and are getting it, how come we need to explain to our own people the importance of Hip Hop?

Man yall comprehension levels are so low. What Vlad was trying to say is that it actually hurts his feelings when people online calls him culture vulture among other bigoted things. So he goes to the mall to see if the black people hate is real where it's actually not, because smart black guys such as myself, appreciate strategic journalism and commend him for it. Now who knows if Vlad is being sincere, or not. But he wasn't trying to be arrogant at all in this clip. He actually tells you that he contemplate quitting from the hate he gets online.

HipHop is as Black, as KungFu is Chinese and Anime is Japanese. It’s a product of our history, suffering, resilience and soul. All people are welcome but that doesn’t change the origin story. Bricc Baby is not the one to talk about HipHop culture though. LA and DC are two places that are unique in America, in the sense that HipHop is not REALLY that deep there. Black LA is run by gang culture, not HipHop. And Black DC has their own music, which is Go-Go. They never really been that hardcore about the CULTURE part of HipHop.

My appeal to every Muslim, my brother or sister, the owner of the channel, I know that it is not my right to comment on your channel, but God is my witness that our circumstances are harsh and forced me to do this. Please forgive me. My brother, there is still a brotherhood of faith. I asked you for a bag of flour. My brother, we women cannot go out among men. There is still a woman with you. My brother, God has honored you. You are men. We are women. We cannot go out or work like you. My brother, where is the brotherhood of faith in your hearts? We are women. There is no brotherhood, no mercy, no compassion, no humanity. And give good tidings to the patient. It is the greatest hope while waiting for what we want. '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' How many times I called and talked and tried hard, but no one responded. Oh man, we are with you. My mother ordered us food from the restaurant. More and today. My mother left. Crying. She said, Why are you crying, my mother? She said, My daughter, I ask. God, that I may be honored by death. She said, Why, my mother. She cursed us. She said, "My daughter, today the restaurant owner insulted me. I said, 'Why?' I said, 'How can I be better than people?' I ask God, my daughter. May God gather me. With death alone, a gathering that is better than this humiliation and this humiliation. It is true. I am saying this. It diminishes my value and respect. But, man. I swear to God that I did not say this. I kiss your boots. I am so hungry that my conscience no longer allows me to let you go and ask us for food. I kiss your boots, man, and I ask you by God Almighty and in the Book of God, man, I kiss your boots, man. He has caused us harm, my brother, so that we can buy a kilo of flour and pay the rent. My brother, have mercy on us. He who is in the show will have mercy on you, He who is in the sky. My brother, this is my WhatsApp number: 00967713348473. Whoever can help us, message me on WhatsApp. We will send him the full name. He will transfer us as much as he can. May Allah reward you. Allah knows that my family and I, our house rent is 15 thousand Yemeni riyals per month, and now we owe 45 thousand for 3 months. The owner of the house is one of those people who do not have mercy. By Allah, my brother, he comes every day and humiliates us and talks about us and wants to throw us out of the house and into the street because we were unable to pay him the rent. We will have until the end of the week, and if we pay him, he will swear by Allah that he will throw us out into the street without mercy. See my situation for yourselves. I ask you by Allah, the Living, the Eternal, to help me. By Allah, the Almighty, even at night we cannot sleep from fear. We do not have mattresses or blankets to warm ourselves from the cold. Everything is flooded from the rain, and we have no one but Allah and then you. My brothers, I kiss your boots, don’t turn me away empty-handed. Help us with whatever you can. Is it acceptable to you that we live in this place? We are girls and we have no one. Our father died in a car accident. Consider us your daughters and your honor, and help me with whatever you can. This might be the most honest comment I’ve ever made, but the “reason” (in my personal opinion) why black people feel so entitled to Hip Hop is because a lot of us feel like this is all we got. We do not get credit for anything else. And considering Hip Hop covers a plethora of things. Like fashion, style, maybe that’s the same thing, influence of attitudes, culture in itself. We want to always let it be known we did that. For instance. For the sake of not remembering all this woke stuff people say over the years or I’ve learned along the way because real life happens daily. I think it’s a black man invented traffic lights I heard allegedly? A black man invented vaccines I heard allegedly? A black man discovered CTE according to that Will Smith movie I heard allegedly? I even heard a black man was the first president of the United States and if you look at the back of some dollar bill the shaded out character was that black supposedly, which is one I seriously question the authenticity of that in general. But for the sake of. I’ll just say I don’t know. My point is. When people think of a traffic light. I don’t think anyone thinks out loud that was invented by someone black. We just assume it was created. It’s here. It’s an old invention. And someone black inventing it does not pop up in my mind about it. Honest. So, when it comes to Hip Hop. We just want to make sure that when we speak of the greats. The average Hip Hop person does not want to give that credit to Eminem being the dopest ever. Even though, there’s a strong argument for it. And even when it comes to which Coast did it best. There’s a strong argument for the West and for the South on who did it best & every time that’s spoken out loud. Someone says “well, New York invented it”. They don’t even say East Coast Half the time. They not even acknowledging Jersey even though you can argue Queen Latifah, Reggie, and Treach are some of the dopest to ever do it! But the conversation immediately goes to its NY. No other place. And to a certain degree. I’m not even mad at that. Because as a fan of Hip hop. I remember a dude from NY argued me up and down that Spice 1 wouldn’t be known if it wasn’t for that record he did with Method Man on the Amerikkka’s Nightmare album and I said “You outcho mind!” And he told me to listen to Grave Diggas. I don’t know why out of all the East Coast albums he pointed me to that one, but I bought both them albums and to me. That was not RZA’s best Wu contribution. And I love Wu period. I liked Jeru The Damager, Lords of the Underground. I remember when JD & Da Brat shouted out Da Bush Babies and they curved them on national TV and I stopped acknowledging them after that. If you ain’t got love for Chicago and Da Brat then Peace to you. I remember Fu Shinck’Ems or however you spell it. I thought that dude was more of a character than Busta, but Busta is dope no matter what. He one of the best to ever do it period. EVER! So, I just think, in my opinion, We want history to remember that black people played a huge role in Hip Hop. Before those who are passionate about it perish. We were here. And A.I. doesn’t write us out of history like so many other things do. So, if we keep standing on their neck. They’ll get it.

@ And this proves my point. This isn’t common knowledge. We learn some of it along the way. Those of us who seek it our more definitely know more than others and/or more than I do. With that said. That’s why when it comes to Hip Hop which is in other genre’s of music, Sports like Baseball to Football to American Soccer etc etc, and advertisement in general. With patents not being known right off the top by the large majority or beaches being taken from certain families. To even my blood family that has passed that owned property in Louisiana that the property tax got raised on causing my Great Great Grandmother to move only to find her property had oil on it. There’s that I cannot prove. And some other stuff I’m not speaking on. People just want something to be proud of. At least I did growing up. Especially with my uncles. So, to me. That’s part of not wanting to be overlooked. It’s deeper than rap.

True, rap/hip hop IS for black culture but good thing hip hop and rap is dying. Spanish music took over completely!! Even rappers wanting to go Latino Everyone got tired of hearing bums lying about fake lifestyles thinking they’re Narcos pushing weight. Lyin about being tough, and as for the girls the music is dirty. The baddies want something vibey to listen too . Regional Mexican Music, Bachata 🇩🇴, Other Latin American music and even Reggaeton itself all do better than rap

Hip hop really isn't just black American culture, nor is it just American culture, nor is it just African-American culture, first and foremost hip hop is South Bronx, New York City culture. If you've never been to the South Bronx stop even speaking on hip hop if you're past a certain age anyway...And I'm from Chicago but I've been to learn about the culture and yes the people like Kool Herc, Bambatta, Grandmasta Caz and the originators were Black American BUT they were also Carribean as well. But if people know anything about culture it only becomes vibrant when it's shared so it a proud moment when I see diverse people embrace hip-hop...it's a learning moment and a teachable moment.
