I could see it, though, if the comedian is top level and super busy so doesn't have as much time as when s/he was smaller tier. Kevin Hart has a couple guys that help him get ideas through every day life but they don't just write all his material. I think a bit of collab is fine.

Other writers bounce ideas off of the comic who in turn interprets the idea in his/her own humor. Remember, most of these guys are performers just like an actor performs a screenplay written by someone else. Most A-list comics utilize writers for stage performance.

Kevin's stage presence is what makes him a great comedian. I don't think he's the funniest, a guy like Bill Burr to me is funnier, but you combine his stage presence and his jokes it makes him a powerhouse. Kevin relates to people better than a lot of comics. I like Aries comedy I think he's funny, but when you watch him is he gonna reach a wide spread audience? I don't think so. Do comics push social media like Kevin does? He has alone on Instagram 56 million followers and damn near 5,000 pictures he's posted. He reaches out to the audience, social media has become a must in today's world of entertainment marketing. The Rock is a good actor, he's not great, but he pushes his social media so hard he reaches an audience that without it he could never get to. Lavell Crawford has 56 thousand Instagram followers with 742 post I can't find an Instagram for Arie Spears. You can be a comic with 20+ years of experience, but from 2008 and on social media has become your marketing tool and it gives you the ability to get an audience and sell out clubs and theaters.
