People swear up and down, 2pac would still be beefing with all these people. That's unrealistic, Tupac would have slowly but surely had made peace with many if not all of his so-called enemies. The thing with 2pac was that he had a lot on his plate at an early age and was dealing with it the best way he knew how at the time. He would have eventually grown out of that phase. 2pac and Nas would have been the power players instead of Jay-Z and Snoop Dogg to an extent. No hate on JayZ or Snoop. I think everyone in the game would still be around but not as heavy as they are today. 2pac, Kadafi, Outlawz, Biggie etc would dominate the game for years on end. 2pac+Big collab album would cause mayhem lol.
@warking27346 жыл бұрын
ogeid nomar I feel that way too, but I don’t think they would’ve been tight, they wouldnt be beefing anymore tho
@evolutiontail56976 жыл бұрын
He made up with nas before death. Plus pac knew how petty he could be. Think about it his diss records were recorded in full hate nas. Give him a few years and he would have been at peace with biggie, puffy, cease, jay z and dre. Trust and believe beef don't last forever
@Israel-nb7ip5 жыл бұрын
@@evolutiontail5697 once a man sleeps with your wife and continously brags about it, that will never be a real friendship again. Period. Maybe they wouldn't have been beefing, but do music together and be friends? I can't see that happening. The situation with Nas was NOT a beef. He took a line in a song the wrong way, that's it. With Biggie, Pac felt he was with people who nearly killed him and the added Suge/Puff component took it to another level where street gangs got involved. Comparing Pac making peace with Nas to the Biggie situation doesn't make any sense. Who's to say Biggie even would've wanted it given where Pac took it? Maybe Biggie wouldn't have wanted a war but he would not have wanted anything to do with Pac. He threw shots at Pac AFTER he died so that tells you where his head was at. Hard to go from that to friendship.
@evolutiontail56975 жыл бұрын
@@Israel-nb7ip none of your statements are wrong but those songs were written before his death. Yes pac took it too far mentioning his wife and calling every name he could think of. In all honesty biggie would've forgave but not forgotten. Chino xl and pac made up before his death. That tells you pac didn't hold grudges forever. Pac had his way of burning bridges with people towards the end with dre, mobb deep, jay z, big and puffy.
@Israel-nb7ip5 жыл бұрын
@@evolutiontail5697 again, Chino XL isn't a good comparison either. Those were just words. The Pac/Biggie thing had actions behind them. Pac's entire issue with Biggie and Puffy is that they were running with dudes who had him set up and almost killed plus Biggie dropping the song Who Shot Ya afterwards, and that they never reached out when he was in jail. And Pac didn't just talk about Faith. According to a lot of people who were around that situation, he did sleep with her. Whether it's true or not, if enough people believe it then it's more or less true, especially with Pac continously talking about it in music and interviews. Lastly, Biggie spit those rhymes going at Pac during a "freestyle" on the Sway & Tech show months AFTER Pac was dead and, when asked how he felt about Pac's death, he never showed any type of empathy. He basically said that he was focused on his own life and didn't really think about it too much. Those are the words and actions of a man who felt nothing about Pac dying or felt it was justified. On one hand, I don't blame him for holding those feelings but my point is that to me it's clear that there was no love lost. You can make peace with a situation but not forgive the act and, therefore, not want anything to do with the person. Anything is possible, but this situation would've probably been closer to a 50 Cent/Ja Rule situation. I know there are other examples like Jay/Nas making peace and making music together but even that situation didn't go as left as Pac/Biggie since at the end it was really about rap not street shit. One factor we can't forget here is the influence of Suge who was fanning the beef flame because he blamed Puff for his best friend getting killed at Jermaine Dupri's party and supposedly Puff put a bounty on DeathRow chains, which only threw more fuel to the fire. Maybe Pac would've made peace with Mobb Deep and some of the others but him and Biggie being cool again and making music? Couldn't see that happening...but you never know either. I just think the Faith thing was just a bridge too far and even a couple of days before he was shot again in Vegas, Pac was still riding on Bad Boy in that clip of him promoting DeathRow East at the MTV awards after party.

It doesn't matter that we didn't know Tupac or Biggie on a personal level, chopping it up with them on the phone or in person. We connected with their music emotionally, they hooked into our feelings as the consumer. I think the outlawz answer is just to dance around the question. Yes, you might been around them but Tupac was the type to ride and die for you. He deserves that type of respect and Fatal was that type too! Yes, we are supposed to grow and evolve as human beings. Forgive but do not forget. They need to remember the disloyal shit many individuals did to Tupac and the outlawz.

Y'all rap fans crying about Pac & Biggie and saying "if only they could have had a conversation" etc, are the same ones who clap and cheer and add fuel to the fire when it's 50 v Meek v Drake v Joe v Migos or when it's Remy v Nikki v anyone. Every time a "diss track" comes out, people feed into it and revive the negativity again - "What's the best diss song of all time? Hit 'Em Up? Ether? Takeover? Back to Back? ..." Y'all over-analyze everything rappers say and look for subliminal "shots" to fan the flames of negativity. Then get upset when the white award shows don't want to invite black people coz rappers and their entourages and their fans don't know how to act.
