I know everyone knows Cardi B as “the stripper who made it huge” or a party girl.. but when she talks about having to survive financially off a man, who was domestically abusing her, and the job she had wasn’t enough to leave him... my heart goes out. There are so many women who can relate from all walks of life, and I’m glad she’s here to talk about things like that from the position she is in now.

God watching the masses discuss gender and sex theory is frightening. Do yall not understand objectification is the concept behind the career In and of itself, your body and face and persona is the object that is being sold. That is an entirely different discussion then the roles the women and men take when club. We all know strippers consciously choose to be there, that’s obvious, the conversation that the original commenter is trying to have is asking the question that doesn’t get asked a lot, why do people focus on the life of a stripper as being trashy and not the focus on the life of the man who is equally trashy for going to the thing YOU called trashy in the first place. Does this make sense? These are grad school concepts , they’re not easy guys but it’s really Important

I mean strippers are literally called dancers bc they literally dance to music and shaking their asses and even poledancing is a part of their dancing performance even if you think it’s vulgar. They are dancers who perform sex work. Ballerinas are also dancers. However is a ballerina the same thing as a stripper or can you consider a stripper to be a ballerina even tho both of these people fall under the category of dancing? She has a point.

C'mon Vlad, you know exactly what Cardi is trying to get at. She isn't articulating it correctly but she's tryna say that you can have preferences as long as you don't make folks feel "less than".
@eyesthrurosecoloredglasses5 жыл бұрын
Yes, I think that's the point she was trying to make. I think the problem with Vlad is that he expects females not to have a type or standards. Guys like that get annoying and are going to be made to feel like crap by any triggered female.

I really hate how he tries to make her feel stupid because it's difficult for her to articulate what she's trying to say. He will just stay silent like he doesn't know what she's talking about. If your being a good interviewer and paying attention, you will know what she is trying to say. If you don't then ask more questions, probe so you can get answers but don't just stay silent and then say she's contradicting herself when she's really not. I understood everything that she was trying to say and I don't even know her.
@Suzanne44157 жыл бұрын
Idk if he was trying to make her feel dumb, I feel like he was just expecting more standard answers, and she doesn't do that. She really thinks things thru as she's answering. She'll talk about something from opposite perspectives at the same time, and it confuses a lot of people (like with the color/race/ethnicity/preference thing, if u look at the comments).

I wanted to cry for her smh. Vlad you spent the whole first half reading back statements shes said in jest, not asking real questions. More like, oh you've said you're a ho and can get any guy right, so uh how's that going for your body count??? Wtf? She looked so uncomfortable it's unfair she doesn't get fair, real interviews asking legitimate questions her fans want to know about her career and music. It was awkward and she couldn't articulate the points she was trying to make about thick skin, how people will always find flaws no matter what, there always being negative comments about her past, without it being swung back by the guy to something else she said jokingly self deprecating before. God Cardi B needs to get some respect soon... breakfast club this, Hollywood whatever all those places are making such a joke of her. Stop talking about her body, procedures done, any guys she fucked, etc. thanks.

It might sound common to others but im quite shock how real and honest she is to how her life was. Even the small details she was sharing it without any doubt.
