I know everyone knows Cardi B as “the stripper who made it huge” or a party girl.. but when she talks about having to survive financially off a man, who was domestically abusing her, and the job she had wasn’t enough to leave him... my heart goes out. There are so many women who can relate from all walks of life, and I’m glad she’s here to talk about things like that from the position she is in now.

However, after seeing different interviews with her and hearing what she has been through, the fact that she is very smart. She is an excellent mother to her daughter. I must admit, there were some awkward pauses here and there BUT you can't knock the girl. She is REAL. There's no gimmick, no bullshit, no stunting for the camera. She is someone I can relate to to a certain extent because of where I come from and it gives the hope that any of us can get up and make our realities what we envision them to be. Good for her. Call her what you want, she remained true to herself which is something we don't see a lot of nowadays. Everyone's too busy trying to impress, become and/or compete with everyone else. MORE POWER TO HER ❤️

Just because she's not articulate or has limited vocabulary doesn't make her stupid. You have to look past that and look deep in to the thought she is trying to convey to you. If you look at her answers they make sense. People listen to her thick Bronx rican accent and limited vocabulary and all of a sudden she's stupid. The girl may not be academically smart but she is street smart. She understands the streets and reality of certain situations.

bkfinest006 Right, there's strippers that make millions of money. There's reality starts like Prosha Williams that make millions as well and are dumber than a brick. Cardi is tricky because it confuses me if she's just dumb or if it's beachside it seems she has a hard time articulating herself. I don't know witch one. But, young girls should most definitely not look up to this girl. They can do better. But there's also no need to bash cardi.

It’s so heart warming to see her succeed after everything she has been thru. I really love her as a person & artist. She truly deserves all the blessings she has received. People love to talk bad about her but she’s so raw, it breaks my heart that social media has made her fall back & say less. Cardi has always been real & that’s why people either love her or hate her. She isn’t scared to be HERSELF. One thing you can’t deny is that she is REAL, always has been & always will be.

Absolutely, she's very tempered and intelligent, it is disappointing listening to him trying to put words into her mouth about stripping and her countering him and not having it, but he just refuses to get it. Slutshaming, supporting slutshaming and pretending he's not doing it when it's clearly inherent.

God watching the masses discuss gender and sex theory is frightening. Do yall not understand objectification is the concept behind the career In and of itself, your body and face and persona is the object that is being sold. That is an entirely different discussion then the roles the women and men take when club. We all know strippers consciously choose to be there, that’s obvious, the conversation that the original commenter is trying to have is asking the question that doesn’t get asked a lot, why do people focus on the life of a stripper as being trashy and not the focus on the life of the man who is equally trashy for going to the thing YOU called trashy in the first place. Does this make sense? These are grad school concepts , they’re not easy guys but it’s really Important

Point blank I like a lady in the street but a freak in the bed who can handle me. Like I said if you don't know her personally then please stop hating on her. I mean strippers are literally called dancers bc they literally dance to music and shaking their asses and even poledancing is a part of their dancing performance even if you think it’s vulgar. They are dancers who perform sex work. Ballerinas are also dancers. However is a ballerina the same thing as a stripper or can you consider a stripper to be a ballerina even tho both of these people fall under the category of dancing? She has a point.

I really hate how he tries to make her feel stupid because it's difficult for her to articulate what she's trying to say. He will just stay silent like he doesn't know what she's talking about. If your being a good interviewer and paying attention, you will know what she is trying to say. If you don't then ask more questions, probe so you can get answers but don't just stay silent and then say she's contradicting herself when she's really not. I understood everything that she was trying to say and I don't even know her.

More like, oh you've said you're a ho and can get any guy right, so uh how's that going for your body count??? Wtf? She looked so uncomfortable it's unfair she doesn't get fair, real interviews asking legitimate questions her fans want to know about her career and music. It was awkward and she couldn't articulate the points she was trying to make about thick skin, how people will always find flaws no matter what, there always being negative comments about her past, without it being swung back by the guy to something else she said jokingly self deprecating before. God Cardi B needs to get some respect soon... breakfast club this, Hollywood whatever all those places are making such a joke of her.
