Parents make their decisions for how they want to discipline their kids within reason. Abuse is very different and it could not only be physical, but mental, emotional, spiritual or sexual.

I understand as there's a flip side to showering kids without them earning. Boosie got that under control, I listened to him. BUT. Think of how many spoiled rich kids are out there that had everything handed to them. Many expect their parents to continue supporting them for life. Many never learned ambition and drive, as all they learned was to expect without earning. It has ruined many a person. I've seen it and I'm sure you have to. Boosie seems to have found a happy medium to this, he has wisdom. Lots of insight..he's matured and learned so much.
