Remove Michel'le from the equation and Death Row still would have fallen. Like RBX said, bringing in a gang mentality into that type of atmosphere is doomed to fail. Street mentality works on the streets, you can bring some of what you've learned into the business world but you can't run a business like a record company with that type of mentality. It's creating conflict where none needs to exist and starts scaring off talent that can go somewhere else and make similar money with less drama.
