In this clip, China Mac talked about serving a 3-year prison sentence for witness tampering charges and coming home at the ripe age of 21. He went into detail about the subsequent incident that landed him behind bars with Jin and one of his associates which resulted in China Mac shooting the associate and serving a 10-year bid for the crime. He detailed his experience of being on the run for that incident and how it took him across the country.
China Mac spoke of his time in Atlanta while on the run when he stayed with a group of college students and how he posed as a student himself to stick around. He brought up how his mugshot was featured in a major publication at the time and how that prompted his move out of Atlanta.

I really feel for china Mac man...I born in raised in the sco...we had wo hop to triads in the 90's out here from Hong Kong and I had the privilege of meeting one local Chinatown o.g at a seminar and china Mac reminds me of him...it's not just the Chinese thang...it's gangsta trauma street and pen shit...much respect to Mr Mac...just seeing his maturation from the 2014 interview after the bid to now is epic...he truly has grown and has consequential thinking now...i wish the youth could be capable of letting brotha china Mac help them see the road they are heading down will end horribly...

I really like how transparent he is I watched about 3 different inreviews of him and I really wished you would of talked more about his music and how he changed his life for the better, what is he doing right now besides music. What is his music about what inspired him and his music. And where does see hip hop/ rap going in the next few years and where would he like to see rap at. He's more then a insight on jail and giving advice on other peoples situations with the law. I get you have to touch on the subject of him being incarcerated but you don't have to make the whole interview about his past that don't defy him and if I was China Mac I would be a little insulted we are still talking about the same shit as the other past interviews you've done. The only thing that has changed was the names of the people you asked him about due to them dealing with the law.
