Skip’s story of accidentally slapping Eddie reminds me of a time in high school, playing 3v3 lunch time basketball. In one instance, me and my opponent (a senior student who was quite bigger than me at the time) jumped for the rebound at the same time. He was known to have a very strong grip and managed to get the rebound over me. Anyway, because of his strong grip, I wound my arm back to try to spike the ball out of his hand as hard as I could after we both landed, and just as I was swinging my hand forward for the spike he decided to curl his head over the ball to protect it, and I ended up spiking his head instead 😖 Needless to say, I immediately exited the court and stayed away from it for the next week or so 😅
