@@nerdbamarich2063 he came to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2005 before a show they were doing that night. He was giving out tickets to anyone who could guard him. Many tried and many failed. I wasn't even going to go out there but my lil brother just pushed me. So, I knocked the ball away from him the first time but I didn't chase it down before it went in the crowd so he said it didn't count and he could have gotten the ball back if people weren't in the way. I called bullshit. I was about to walk away but he said if I could do it again, he would give me $100 and the ticket. So, he starts his dribbling but this time he's doing the thing were he hits you with the ball while he's dribbling. I told him if he hits me with the ball again, we gone fucking fight. That kinda caught him off guard and when he reacted I stole the ball. He then accused me of cheating or some shit like that. I started acting an ass about my money (fuck the ticket). My lil brother and partners stepped up and his security stepped up. And we ended up getting separated by the campus police before blows exchanged. They left and I never got my money.

If Stan Van Gundy would have brought Jameer off the bench, they would have had a chance to win that series. Skip’s story of accidentally slapping Eddie reminds me of a time in high school, playing 3v3 lunch time basketball. In one instance, me and my opponent (a senior student who was quite bigger than me at the time) jumped for the rebound at the same time. He was known to have a very strong grip and managed to get the rebound over me. Anyway, because of his strong grip, I wound my arm back to try to spike the ball out of his hand as hard as I could after we both landed, and just as I was swinging my hand forward for the spike he decided to curl his head over the ball to protect it, and I ended up spiking his head instead 😖 Needless to say, I immediately exited the court and stayed away from it for the next week or so 😅

It’s also unheard of for a team to make the NBA finals without their best 2-way player (arguably the best player on the team).
