When I first started “swerving” I gave some credit to my pops friend expecting a payback on a Friday. He had no intentions of paying me back because he also knew my pops wouldn’t approve of what I was doin at the time. I finally bumped into him when me and a couple of my guys were chilling out and I mentioned he owed me some money. Without saying another word, they called the dude over, asked him one time “where’s that bread at” and before he could respond he got a mouth shot. Asked him a 2nd time “where that bread at” and before he could say anything my other guy gave him another mouth shot. Needless to say, he didn’t wait on the question again, he went in his pocket and got the bread out. My homie told him that’s the only answer we looking for. I was 15, the geeker was late 30s early 40s. I learned a valuable lesson that day.

Bro, what I learnt about selling dope is you can't be Mr. Friendly. Those crack fiends be feeling you out to see if you soft. I was soft. So I left that shit alone. I lasted three months. He got a job at a tobacco store, and some crack dealer came in and got him to trade dope for a couple cartons of Newports, and got him to try it. He was spose to lock up and close the shop, he ended up robbing them blind. Took everything. Loss was over $90K. One hit lmfao thats all it took. Did them dirtyasf. He ended up in the ICE unit for only a year in the county for it. Crazy.

Met Juvenile at Tiger Mart, Memphis, TN Danny Blvd. I was Assistant Manager #2. Just lost all my real estate and pretty much all my real money in 2008. Juvenile comes in - looked me straight in the face as his man gave me a large bill. He turned to his aide and said, if we pre-pay tell him (meaning me) the amount and if he needs to a smaller bill, break this money down. He knew there was a story and though he didn't have the time then to find out - he showed through his action that he knew somehow something went left. Was always a fan, but that's a real man. To know when an act of kindness is needed more than anything. Fast-forward: I am of course fully back-up and really running and to hear him talk, I can believe him based off of that small moment in time that lasted less than five minutes.
