Vlad living off stereotypes, being from the hood doesn't mean criminal activity, it's culture and area. Everyone from the hood isn't a criminal, that's why these kids are being confused today. They think they have to be a criminal to be loyal to the neighborhood instead of successful

The argument is that if you use street bodyguards you are asking for trouble. And the other premise is that Diddy wasn't a street don, but that he tried to be. He went to Howard ffs! And he graduated too 😂
@doubledge6579
@doubledge6579 7 ай бұрын
@dsa513 Then you don't know Diddys history. From his pops to the Sane Gang. Yes he went to Howard and made a way for himself. But he is who he is. He's been surrounded by gangstas his entire life. Whether it was Wolf, Shyne, G Dep, ASAP Ferg, Jimmy Henchmen all the way to his own pops. Just because he moved to mount Vernon doesn't mean it isn't in him.
@dsa513

@@doubledge6579 Nope, that's turkey talk. It's like Pablo Escobar's son. He didn't get into the business and he doesn't want to get close to that, because it's not his lane. Chapo's sons are different, but they got a bounty on their head. Diddy is not a gangster, but he wanted to be one. And he played with some demonic forces! You reap what you sow
@dsa513

Most street life dudes grow out of it like anyone else grows (suburbs, rural etc). Its the one who dont begin to grow out of it in late 20's early 30's that end up being the older criminals. small % but still all the nerds see on tv news, movies etc. If everyone in the hood (or majority) was a criminal or killer there would be NO ONE walking around. Common sense go's a long way. There is indeed a time limit. Again...well said indeed. It is a bit fun as a younger person...AND it is NOT fun as one gets older and wiser.

Mount Vernon is bordered by the village of Bronxville and city of New Rochelle to the north. The Bronx is rough. Plus the brother in question was brought up with a criminal element in his life with his father and mother….Michael Jai White is right is right about a person’s character when it comes to money. 💴

Grew up between the Bronx & Mt Vernon in the 2000s , there’s a reason why Mt Vernon was called “MurdaVille” back then. Some of the gangs that were beefing were dropping bodies damn near every week/every other week. My family and I had to go through a police checkpoint just to go to church every Sunday. Vlad talking about Mount Vernon like it’s soft is nasty work. It’s literally right on the border of the BX, and not the nice part of the X.

I understand what Vlad is saying here about Puff Daddy being a suburban kid who got intoxicated by the street life. People gotta realize that when guys like Denzel, Puff, Al B Sure and Heavy D were growing up in Mt. Vernon in the late sixties throughout the late eighties that was a very middle class town with nice modest homes and tree line streets. This is undeniable. Just like Compton was a suburban area 40 years ago when guys like Suge Knight were coming up. All the guys mentioned were college educated kids from suburban middle class families who chose to get involved with the streets. However, those wannabes can become very dangerous if you don’t check them early on. Michael is definitely on point too with his take.

Key word is "Allure" adrenaline..the rush..living now crash when you can't handle the speed..thats how you know you alive..but to push the brakes and control the helms is realness also..being hood or street doesn't mean you have to be from a gang or sell dope but the bond of camaraderie shared amongst those whom share the same parts of the struggle outside of each own path.
