Great video. I go to Kralupy and Melnik a lot when I am in Czechia looking for freight, looks like Vsetaty could be a good place in the middle to go. My in-laws live in Velvary. Do you know the best place to go for freight in the Prague - Kralupy- Melnik area please Thanks

thanks a lot the best is the station Prague Libeň (the largest freight station in Prague) then the station Kralupy nad Vltavou, in addition to the passage of cargo from Prague to the estuary, there are also freight trains to Kladno and Rakovník. Then Všetaty or Lysá nad Labem, and Kolín. Each of those places has something in it, most freight trains pass through Kolín, because the lines from Prague and Všetaty converge there.

@@SiRDvlaky Really appreciate your help. I've been going to Kralupy for a few years as it's the local main line station but have wondered where all the freight passes and now I know, thank you. When we come to Czechia in the spring I now know where to go, maybe I'll bump into you You have excellent English by the way

@@Bucina62 In general, most freight trains run from Moravia on the main line to Kolín, and from there either via Všetaty or Prague and Kralupy to Ústí nad Labem and to Germany. Otherwise, my English is via google translator :D
