red things are for changing bicycle tyres. the end with the space hooks over the spoke so you have both hands free for working on the next one. least thats how it's supposed to work. i used just "borrow" a couple of tablespoons from mum. never really understood why she got so pissed with me!!

For changing bike tires. The flat/dished part goes under the tire, between the rim, then you twist down and put a wheel spoke in the locking slot on the other end to hold the tool down.

@Ron_EZ8 жыл бұрын
That's a "bicycle tire" tool, it's used to help get the tire off of the rim; place the flat end under the bead & pull it out so the bead is outside the rim then you can clip the hook on a spoke while do the same with a second or third.

Excellent video Laura! And very wise words to live by. Glad to see music was such a high priority for you. That's always the first thing I do when I step inside my workshop... turn on the tunes! I sometimes turn the music on remotely (Sonos) before I open up the door just so I have entrance music! hehehe. Love your work! Can't wait for the next installment!

Hab das Osterwochenende mal ausnahmsweise nichts in der Werkstatt gearbeitet und Zeit mit Frau und Kindern verbracht und das hat richtig gut getan. Hello again Laura! We don't have a turntable in our woodworking shop, but we do have one in our electronics workshop! Majority of our vinyl has been purchased directly from bands at shows or when youtuber's we follow have released pressings :) Now and then we'll import records for the more obscure / larger acts. Recently we imported a German pressing of Blue Angel (the rockabilly band Cyndi Lauper fronted before she got all famous on MTV). Thanks Germany, and no ... you can not have that record back. It's ours, all ours! muhaha.

Yes, those little red things are bicycle tire levers. One stays stationary, so the tire does not put itself back on the rim, the other slides around the rim until you reach the other.

Laura, be careful using the turntable while you work. Wood dust can damage the vinyls and the needle of the turntable. The plastic tools looks like an accessory for disassembly car's doors panels and others fragile stuffs. At least I use for it ;)
