When visiting my friend in Inverness I went on an excursion to visit Rogie Falls near Strathpeffer. Forestry and Land Scotland has some information about the nearby trails if you want to check that out. And when you're up again for some serious hiking, I would recommend the Five Sisters of Kintail near Loch Duich. It's a beautiful setting, and the Five Sisters even have their own story!

I'm proud of you. I know it was hard, and it kicked your butt but what you proved is that you are not as fragile as you thought. My mother-in-law was diagnosed with heart failure. They told her to take it easy. She was a rebel, she walked daily and raised her children. She was my inspiration after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. So again, you are stronger than you think. ❤️

I agree with you, climbing down feels more precarious than climbing up. On hiking trails around here I've learned why people use hiking poles. They're a game changer. Right now I'm reading In the Lives of Puppets by T J Klune.

I recently watched Suzume and the tears could not be contained 🙃 Unsolicited movie recs now that your getting into anime films: The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (some tears could scape) and Mary & the Witch's Flower. That last one has very similar vibes to Studio Ghibli ✨
