After being in Thailand for a while I learned this safety trick. I imagine all of the Thai banking phone apps will have this feature. In the app you can set limits for your scan pay, online transactions and ATM card withdrawal. Just before you do a withdrawal turn up your limit and then when done, turn your limits back down.

I never pay for anything in Asia, Africa, or Europe with my cards. I always use cash. This is just the start of the path to digital slave tokens ... Keep cash alive!

I have 2 Barclays card. After I uses my credit card I go back online and lock my card. My chase bank account is the the same after uses I lock my card. As long as you can lock your card you will never have a issues with fraud.

Cash on delivery is another option. Look out for skim devices on ATMs. Utility bills can also be paid via online.😁
