Congratulations on a well-balanced presentation and one worthy of viewing by any Spurs fan. I noticed Palace fans joining in with the spirit of the opening ceremony. We get a thorough away guide for all our trips and I would have thought you would have had good advice from us! We home fans are bombarded with travel advice; where to go etc. Thanks for being part of our opening day.

@@markwilliamsvlogs- You're welcome. Another point to make is that we all experience away fans above us at some grounds. Arsenal is on e. Liverpool another. Bear in mind that all clubs are supposed to give away fans access at ground level. Newcastle are the only club not to comply with this to date. We can only hope the stewards will be very aware of this when west Ham come to town later this month!

@@paulsmith9330 Oh sure thing, yes at Arsenal there is a small tier of about 7/8 rows above the away fans. I've been there 4/5 times & nothing has been thrown down. My point really was day 1 in a new stadium & your fans threw flags, spat & a few drinks came down on us. Tottenham should police it better or stick VIPS in there or corporate etc... not great for your first game. Yep we were above Newcastle fans today. That's weird and very high.

Come to the home end, no queues there. Tbh I think a few stadiums have home fans above away fans but I didn’t realise they were that close. Maybe they can half the bottom allocation and move to top so it’s one tall strip. Great to see it all from your perspective! Good luck for the rest of the season

It's a Pl rule - away fans have to be next to the pitch. Newcastle have to change their arrangements next year - they had special dispensation this season.

I love the stadium and they chose to play us Crystal Palace first and I was honoured to be there to see the beautiful new stadium. The really needs to look at the away seating. Men were spitting down on our fans and that’s not good at all. Sorry we didn’t manage to spoil their party

The stewards were trying there best to sort it out and they removed the few people from the stadium who did it. Brilliant stadium and Tottenham should tried their hardest to stay in the top 4. With a club like this you got to be playing champion league and possible win the premier league in the next few years. All the best to the future of this beautiful club and stadium

As a Spurs fan, I thought this was a balanced review, but I dont get your point in regards to the location of the away fans. It's nodifferent anywhere else. At the Emirates, the home fans are above you. It is what it is. Glad you enjoyed the stadium though.

Sure thing and we were above the Newcastle fans today. My point was more the amount of stuff that came down over us during your first fixture, spitting, drinks, flags etc.. I've never had that at Arsenal. May be police it better or stick corporates or suits in that section. Cheers

Quality vlog but why do you think they have messed up by bringing the players out early..? Do you not think they would want to be a part of it? They expect them to sit in the dressing room or stand in the tunnel before hand? They are human beings and they get paid a lot. They can handle standing upright for ten minutes. Think you guys were just that envious of the new stadium you just bantered on that one fact. I would have to if I was an opposing fan, but if you think about it , it really would have been odd to make them miss the ceremony all because of the idea that you can’t make a footballer stand somewhere doing nothing for ten minutes.
