I really like the Nail Aid line, I've got a few topcoats by them & whenever I run out of my Sally Hansen hardener they're really good dupes. @12:27 Very 80's! 💅👍

Nail Aid hardeners are my go to for life since it's stronger than the Sally Hansen bullet proof and they stopped making it😣. I buy 4 or 5 bottles at a time at Ross (3.49) or Wal-Mart (3.88)😁

I’m debating about whether to file/cut my nails. I’ve challenged myself before to see how long I can grow them. I usually get tired of the upkeep after awhile. Then I keep them short for awhile. Right now they are super long, about twice the length of my nail bed and I have long nail beds. I’m loving them. I’m just venturing out into the world of nail art after wanting to start it long ago. It’s a bit of a learning curve but I’ll get it. Thanks for the little tips especially about the bubble problem, sponging the base color and redoing the growth at the growth.

Absolutely beautiful nails and color changes. What do you suggest to stop the nails from splitting in the middle ? I try to keep a heavy clear coat in that area, but they still split. TFS

I hope you don’t mind my two cents worth. I use Sally Hansen’s Triple Strength Gel Nail Fortifier as a base coat. Sometimes I use it as a top coat. But right now I’m using Broadway top coat on top of the color. It cost $1 at Dollar General and I love it. I use castor oil as a nail and cuticle moisturizer. After I remove my polish I slather the castor oil , massage it in and let it sit awhile. Then I wipe it off. Then I take an alcohol pad to wipe the excess oil of the nail. Then I polish them. Many people say castor oil makes your hair grow so maybe it’s good for nails too. People also say garlic makes hair grow. I eat a lot of garlic and my hair grows like crazy and so do my nails.
