Vlog#1-Setting the scene, introducing myself, my wonderful mum and what is no time to cry all about?

After much thought over the past 2 years, and trying to process my grieving journey… I have decided that I am going to start a new vlog series of “𝐍𝐨 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐓𝐨 𝐂𝐫𝐲”
Why am I doing this?
• I’ll be honest I LOVE talking about my mum at any given opportunity
• Grief is such a common and natural part of life, and we will all experience it at some point in our lives
• Relatable approaches, sometimes complicated grief can be added into the mix (more to come on explaining my journey with complicated grief)
• Talking about my journey, the loss of my mum, the struggles, the laughs, the tears and everything in between helps with the process
• I’ll be open and honest about my experience of dealing with loss
• I’m hoping that even if my videos help just 1 person, that will be amazing
• To know that what you’re feeling is “normal”
• Shining a light on how grief can consume and impact your life
• For being a tool that you can use not only personally but also to support your friends and family on the do’s and dont’s that I experienced (this will be different for each individual person)
• To stress the importance of having conversations with your family especially your parents on plans of action to take if anything should happen to them
*EVERY grief journey, circumstances and how you process your grief is different. I’m not going to be able to cure your grief however I hope to act as a comfort blanket and try to get people to talk more openly about their journeys and grief as a whole.
**I am also not a medical professional, and therefore cannot give guidance on anything to do with mental health.
