I'm very sorry for the loss of your beloved old companion. Also going through the "empty nest syndrome " here so I totally understand your feelings. You did the best you could and that has to be enough for peace of mind, although the empty place will take time to fill with joy again. Your wonderful art will keep you inspired, as you gift us all with it. Thankful for that. Brava !!!

I miss her dearly, but will sculpt her soon. The sadness is not as harsh now. Good luck with your "empty nest", it took my mum quite a bit to find herself again.

Hi Stephanie, I have been a silent follower for almost a year now. I have started watching your videos when I started working on my own art projects. I'm just an amateur but it is very encouraging to see how you go through your work, the process and struggles behind it. I watch/listen to your videos while I work on my projects, sort of like a motivation video/coach :) . My heartfelt condolences on your cat. It is hard to lose a pet. Your book arts are my fave but I thought using the black painted bottle as a canvas was amazing! Also ❤ your kraft ppr paintings on the wall behind you are beautiful too! I'm going to see if you have a video on them..

I sat down this morning to relax a little a saw your video. It was lovely. We also lost one of our cats we had rescued last week. And although she was my husbands companion I miss her coming to me when he is gone. Stephanie. When you do your clay. I am assuming it’s polymer. Do you bake the polymer on the recycled object? Book? Plastic milk jug? Thank you and have a wonderful holiday in Berlin. My grandparents were from Munich and my cousin still lives in close by

Pets are part of the family, so it's always a little hard when they die :( I haven't used polymer clay in years, here, the bunnies are the only ones I made with PC, but that's more of an exception I usually work with epoxy clay, air dry clay and cold porcelain these days, no baking required. I never bake the object I work on.

🍄🤗if you were to use lights for taking images of you sculpture, what type would be your preference?

I usually use daylight as my art studio has lot of natural light. But if all else fails I use those daylight bulbs. But natural light is still the better option.

🥛 L’intro est très très pro pour la vidéo 👍Je suis désolée pour ton chat, c’est difficile à vivre quand ils partent et encore plus quand ils sont malades et qu’on arrête leurs souffrances. Personnellement, quand ils souffrent et qu’on les fait « durer » juste pour les garder prêt de nous pour quelque jours… je peux pas. Courage ❤ J’adore tes sculptures marines aussi, mon père habite à la mer… c’est powerful

merci! bah j'essaye des trucs au montage XD Ma chatte était déjà vieille, 20 ans au moins, donc on s'y attendait, mais ça reste difficile. Elle avait une envie de vivre très forte, jusqu'à la dernière seconde :/

@@stephanie.kilgast mais c’est qu’elle devait être heureuse et bien avec vous ❤️ Celle que j’ai perdu y a un peu plus de 10ans a cache les symptômes de cancer jusqu’à ses derniers jours. Elle mangeait bien, buvait bien, jouait… jusqu’à la dernière minute ! J’étais tout le temps avec elle et des que j’ai note qu’on était en octobre et qu’elle se couchait sur le carrelage (vraiment inhabituel), zou chez la véto ! Cancer de l’estomac, 9cm de diamètre, plus rien à faire. Même la véto était sur le c** parce qu’elle souffrait et elle ne montrait rien. Il paraît que ça arrive quand le lien est fort avec son humain 🤷🏻‍♀️. Bref, tout ça pour dire que je pense qu’elle a poussé sa vie au maximum parce qu’elle était belle avec vous 😉 prends ton temps

Hi Kels! First off, don't feel obligated to support me financially. Of course, I very much appreciate every support I get, but I don't want people to be in a tight financial spot just so they can support me. Now, concerning the classes, I currently only have them on skillshare. I *might* put them on my website this year, especially since my skillshare revenue was cut in half (they changed something in the way they pay) ... but there's quite a bit of administrative and fiscal stuff to go through first, before I can do that. And I already am working on a lot of other projects. So this is where it's at right now. If I ever put up the classes on my website, I will talk about it here on youtube. In the meantime, simply watching my content and leaving a comment is support enough! :)
