That looks like the blood poisoning i got from my cat scratching/biting my hand, I waited probably a couple days more than yours is now and the red colour moved up my arm to my shoulder. Had to go on pretty strong antibiotics and doctor said if it didn't stop worsening in 24hrs to head to ER.
