Vlog 16th September 2017: Inktober, Adult Colouring, Dissociation, Sensory Issues

Hi Helen, Thanks for the inktober reminder; i love to paint and draw; i have too much art supplies so i may have a go :D Regarding the other things you mention, I relate to much of what you say. Its strange but I can often feel overwhelmed by my creative potential, to the point that I procrastinate; the thought of what i could do, produce, causes so much inner excitement, that it becomes too much, and i do nothing. This frustrates me a lot. Also, ive realised that my moods tend to become more erratic, agitated, around February/ March and August/September; giving me increased anxieties. I spend more time doing abdominal breathing at this time of year to help me cope. Remember, anxiety can make you believe you have a serious, life-threatening condition; and can feed in to the self-perpetuating wheel of worry, panic and symptom. This can be helped when you do some deep, slow, meaningful breathing. The struggle does seem never-ending; but hey, all these extremes we experience, ( exhausting at times i know) fuel our unique take on life and the gifts we can share with others. Thanks for opening up and sharing your own insights and experience. Keep your chin up; you will be fine :)

One other thing, try to maintain good eating habits and get good sleep and rest - dont do too many all-nighters on video editing :)

My solution for the light problem is, I don't turn any lights on, unless I'm looking for something, or doing something I need light for. Right now the only light in my apartment is coming from the computer monitors. That's more then enough light for me. :)
