Thank you for this honest vlog! You did a great job in Paris. You worked so hard, I watched every shot. Against all odds you gave your best in that moment. The rest was not in your hands! We can only control a small part... As a psychotherapist and shooter, I see what you put in and I am sorry for what you are going through. As you say, your feelings are your feelings. Give yourself all the days it takes... Being an athlete has a very high price and for me all athletes are heroes. Not only the winning ones!!!!

You will always have my support because you're shooting for GB, and you've inspired me to start shooting air rifle, igniting what is now a very meaningful interest in my life so thank you for that. Please keep showing us your training (and maybe even some educational shooting videos?) I would love that as I have already picked up things from watching you shoot. However overall just do what you want to do and what makes you happy. Please take care and best of luck from one of your newer fans, Andrew :)

Incredible to hear from the mind of a champion who also feels vulnerable ((like us at the bottom of the food chain). Every time I had a downturn in my scores and I looked back, it felt that I was chasing scores and I stopped enjoying shooting. For me, it is very hard to perform well if I'm not enjoying it. I hope we see more of you in the future, chin up.

Thanks for sharing your Olympics! It's kind of amazing how our brains work, isn't it? You're something like top 30 in the world, but we manage to disappoint ourselves by look at the competitors just ahead of us. I think you're going to look back on this very soon with fondness and an incredible sense of pride that you were chosen as the best of your country. Also, you looked awesome in your gear. Total badass. 😎

Thanks for your honesty in this vlog. It cannot have been easy to make and it was a little difficult to watch too. You are still a champion to me - an Olympian and a credit to our country. Very much hope you find the balance to continue shooting as such a high level. All the best :)

Thank you first for being so honest. I can reconize a lot of things you say. And I am sure that a most of us feel this way (mostly because there are a much more athletes not wining than the ones wining a olimpic medal). It must be very hard for you. This moments are really paintfull. But time maybe will solve it for you. So good luck to you, stay healthy and send us your thoughts if you want to.

A lot of the people you were competitive with at the top of world cups, ended up with a similar performance as you in Paris as well. Olympics is a funny beast.
