Hi Samrat, please clarify - did you applied to PGWP and you cannot access to GC account or you about to apply for post graduate work permit soon? If you need to apply for work permit just start with new GC account and start there. Your old study applications can be transferred to new GC account as well.

Hi John, did you get application number before you got revoked? Did you pay for the application before your GC got revoked? If you did get application number than you should be able to link it. Try different options and try up to 5x per 24 hours.

HI Clarence, if you moved that application to new GC key then it will no longer be there on old GC key account. But if you left it on old GC key and you created new for other applications than keep checking your e mail you used for old GC key account. You need to respond to IRCC when they need some clarification or you will need to see that approval letter.

Hi there, problem with the linking a study permit to new GC account usually is with start and end date of program. DO you have acceptance letter somewhere saved? That latter should show start and end dates.

Hi, find your acceptance letter and IMM study form you have submitted. On acceptance letter you will see start and end dates. Check if you have the same dates on IMM form. If you have different than try both options. You can link application up to 5 x in one day. After 5th time if unsuccessful you need to wait 24 hours and try again.

Hi Rahul, if you have completed old applications you do not need to link those, just the ones that are pending. You can even link old applications but since you do not need these do not stress.

Hi Gurkan, you will only get approval letter on GC key account. Your work permit only comes in hard copy with water seals. Keep that WP safe until you decide to get PR or leave Canada. Ela

Hey! I recently revoked my gc key by mistake. I tried linking but it says application cannot be found. I already received my study permit. I just wanted to check some old letters from my account and ended up revoking my gc key as I logged in a after a long time. Hi, I assume you need biometrics letter or approval letter for study permit? Linking your application would def be the best as all the files come together. On IMM1294 you need to check correct start and end date and funds available you also used on that form. It needs to match exact amounts. Try linking with different options just your name and date of birth, try all 5 options. If you failed after 5 times you can try again after 24 hours. Next option is to use web form and ask agents to send you the forms on your e mail. Regards,

Hi Maliha, if you used representative you need to check with them what they entered in the system. Most of problems that I see with linking is when you all used agents to make your accounts for permits. Also date changes for school makes it difficult to link it. I am trying to link study permit for one girl and it does not work. She has 2 different start dates. Hi Rana, You can start new GC key account and start new application and you do not need to link that refused application. It would be recommended on your next application for study permit to write reason of refusal due to - "reason" in IMM form. If you remember why they refused you just mention that you had applied before and you can write one short sentence in the box. You will see it on IMM form for study permit. Not to worry it is best to be honest. I was refused for not having financial funds while actually I did not used proper form from bank proving I had enough money for studies. So I was refused 2x and once I did it with bank signed form I was enrolled. Best luck with next application. Ela

@@ranaerfan475 I do believe if they need biometrics they will send you the letter to do it in given places. If you are outside of Canada you will do it in visa center in your country or elsewhere if Canada does not have VAC in our country. If you got new dates for your admission and you submitted those dates for you study permit than use those dates. If you used old dates on IMM form for your study permit that application will be linked with old dates. But I assume you need different dates to start your study? Hi Rawya, I assume your agent did it for you. Try with WEB form and ask IRCC to give you info on start and end date. You can try to link application up to 5 x in 24 hours and after that it will be locked and you can try again next day. Try with different days. I am really upset that agents do not use acceptance letter for start and end date. Ask you agent to give you IRCC IMM form, on that form he/she put start and end dates which should be used on line.

I need to link it because I have to change my dli number before January as I am changing my institution. I am confused about program start and end date. I can’t find it on my offer letter or IMM5813. My GC key account somehow got revoked and I created a new one. But now, I cannot link them so that I can check the status of my application. I raise a web form but I got no reply yet! Do you have any idea on how to resolve this????

@@tomsjis736 Did you used correct start and end date for your studies? Whatever you used on 1294 IMM form use the same info -start and end date and use correct DLI number.

I assume you incorrectly answered sec questions? if it is locked you cannot back to it. If you still want to send inquiry over web form you can, but I think you need to create new GC key and link it.

@@dikshadelhi2379 IMM is short for immigration file, it is form you need to fill in to submit for your application. When you applying from outside of Canada that is IMM 1294. In your acceptance letter is correct start and end date of your program which you will need to enter once start to link your application.

@@yuvrajdhillon7483 it should say successfully linked once you do it and when you go to home page it should be there for sure. Make sure you read carefully once you hit the link button, I think you did not find application, something is not matching. If you wish send me all info to may e mail and I will try for you. I did it already for few people, they had a trust in me and once I am done, I delete their files.
