Brother, been there quite a few times. I found that the outlaws will test everything you know and have. I've been up there in a 400 sportsman, 570 ACE, Canham commander800, and my new beast Rmax and still learn more each time. It happens to the best of us, but like you said "a day of riding, is still a better day in the office. I'm very impressed with the 200's and the boys are doing great for just driving a 2x4, I know grown ups in 4x4 1000 that can't handle as well as they do. Keep it up and have fun, even if the machines test your patience.

I live in Gilbert, very close to those “outlaw” trails that you guys were on. Even I had to follow someone to Wilmore Dam my first time, because they had been there before. Just “winging it” on these trails around here is just asking for trouble, and headaches. They constantly get severely washed out, or tree blocked. Local knowledge is everything. It’s honestly a miracle that things went as well as they did, for you guys…..

Props to the little guys I need to hire them to chauffeur me around.

hahaha... it might be a bumpy ride but they could do it.

Been watching several of your videos. Y'all have more patience than me. No way I'd deal with those 200s for that many miles.

Man those little 200’s are awesome. If it had a little more height and a little more width it would be even better. Love watching the kiddos driving.

It would help to clean the windshield on the 200! The kid couldn't see what was ahead of the machine!

For sure…. They are still learning. Real world experiences are the best teacher.

What radios do you guys use for comms? How do they hold up to the elements? Looks like a great time for the whole family!

Below is a link to a video we did on the radios we use. There are links in the description of that video to the exact radio we use today. Hope this helps. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iHzIfGRroZmoY7c

I love Matewan

we do too. Especially where we ate in Matewan.

@@trailkings We've eat their a couple times. Also like to stay at Matewans Hisorical Bed and Breakfast. IMO the best place to stay in late fall. You don't have to worry about Breakfast and in the evening their is several places to eat in walking distance. Wingos is right across the street and theirbis a Mexican restaurant that's a block away and of course the place you guys eat at.

Just my 2 cents but why wouldn't take the trail high right instead of straddling that deep gully?
@trailkings Жыл бұрын
We appreciate you asking the questions... Depending on what part of that section you are talking about, most of the trail didn't have enough space on either side. On the few short section that we could of done that, we would of been in a bind trying to get it back straddle at the narrow spots.

Man with machines that small you should have stayed on green trails only

They handled the blue trails the day before with little to no issues. But we didn’t realize that this trail was going to turn into what it did. Live and learn was that days lesson.
