I know this is uncool academically Tara but you really are a wonderful person. When you state how difficult matters are for you it is so comforting as so many profs hide behind the writing process and then the labour I invest seems ridiculous and it affects self confidence etc. thank you

Thanks S - it is a tough life. But a joyous one. Writing is terrific - but editing is a slog. A valuable one. But a slog. The best writers are the best editors. And it takes time - and sweat :) Txxx

Fantastic! Thank you very much Tara for the clarity of your lecture. The most helpful I came across after trying a lot of other lectures on 'Writing a Journal Article'. Just have to get on with it now I have got some real guidelines.

Tara, I love you..!! You are the perfect supervisor/academic that I didn't imagine exists in reality. If I had a PhD supervisor like you or if I had met anyone like you through my academic career, I would have been a completely different person and academic. Horror stories about my supervisor (I did - and miraculously survived - my PhD in a top-tier Russel Group university in the UK) could make an interesting vlog in your awesome series..!! All the best to you now and ever.

Hello from Singapore. I wish I'd found your Vlog earlier... like a year earlier. You've broken it down to manageable bite-size. It does seem doable to me now. And I love the way you present the content in an exciting manner, excitedly. It's so refreshing. Thank you. Love and peace to you too, Professor Brabazon.

Thank you so much Dr Tara. I must say that you are so enthusiastic, energetic, inspiring and colourful. I being a girl have a,ways seen lady professors very sober and very mild. I am so happy to see you so lively and eager to teach us. Thanks a lot. Yes, I am writing an article and just like you said, I am u able to go forward since I am not happy with sentences that I have written. I am like this from past 15 days and everyday I hardly write one paragraph. Many times I just sit looking at monitor or thinking about how to structure. I know that I want to break that habit and want to move forward..... Still have no motivation... Thanks for coming across this video, I understood this happens to many. So will definetky take your tips and advices. Thanks again. Take care.

That is so me @10:30. I've been reading and writing for almost a whole year, and I feel I haven't got anything permanent on paper. I keep reading same literature, deleting my notes or starting new documents. I still don't know how to construct my literature review/theoretical framework and therefore can't write a convincing research grant proposal. :((

Mate - my pleasure. If we can break journal articles down into types or sub-genres, then fill out the headings, then we can demystify the process ... You take care - you are the best Txxx

Dear Prof. Tara. I noticed several times you mentioned that the humanities article are somewhat different. Would you be kind explaining that it on your next video? I would be happy if it is a philosophy article for philosophy journal. Many thanks from Indonesia 🙏.
