I’ve seen much much worse garages my love yours is in a good place right now for just having moved. Carrot cake looked brilliant, you would see it like that in a village bakery or afternoon tea shop, very inviting, and freshly baked. It’s the thought that counts, but you are too hard on yourself. The shrubs out the front will grow into big bushes and not flower. Take some out now before they take root and plant new stuff in its place. Plant some bulbs in the autumn for spring next year. Plant in groups so you have clumps of different varieties and colours. Lavenders are good to have to. Xx

I would utilize those old storage things in the garage and store something in them. Just push them against the wall. And then get some shelves for rest of the stuff so you can walk into the garage and get what you need easily.

If you’re investing in a good litter tray. There are the self cleaning ones. Which are quite expensive. But you can’t smell anything at all and super easy to clean too. Just an idea. The house is very cosy.

That under stair space is so perfect for a litter tray! Also, not sure if you know but plug ins are toxic to cats so an air purifier might be a better option

Do you know you can't paint for a year when you buy a newbuilt house. As can cause major problems with walls 😮 cracks and movements ❤ As walls need time to settle
