VLOG: Bringing Baby Scottie Home | Kryz Uy

After 2 nights in the hospital, Scottie and I were finally discharged and we could all go home! I couldn't wait to wash the hospital away- if you know what I mean 😂 But I was even more excited to bring Scott home to meet Sky bear, and finally settle in and find our new little routine.
When we got home, we were greeted by a sweet little surprise by my best friend. I was so touched! Plus my crazy hormones made me tear up yet again! I felt so special, and I'm sure Scott loved it too!
Though our first night wasn't smooth sailing (I'm sure first nights with a newborn ever are), and I probably only got to sleep for 15 minutes, I'm still really happy and overwhelmed with emotion for our little boy. Every time I look at him, I realize just how worth it everything I went through was. Scottie, thank you for bringing such joy into our lives, and welcome home!

The baby was very calm & peaceful. It reflects how both of you were just very chill the whole pregnancy period. My 1st born child was never that easy baby. Haha. He was always crying every hour I can’t even have a decent meal. My both parents were diagnosed during & after my pregnancy of cancer, my surroundings were full of crazy emotions. So as my baby, I think. I am again pregnant with my second child, and my Mom got diagnosed again with cancer. Babies are indeed always a blessing. My sunshine in every rain. I hope & pray he/she’ll be as healthy, calm, and peaceful despite all the stress as your baby. I’m crying while watching your vid. I pray for that calmness in my baby when he’ll be out of my womb. Have 3 kids and I remembered those 3 separate times we'd take them home from the hospital - I felt your own excitement! My third was the most challenging as I had to undergo emergency cs, and I can barely walk when we were discharged. But it was all worth it after seeing that little chubby wonderful angel, snuggly wrapped, all for you to enjoy and love. Amazing job, Kryzzzie! Congratulations!

I was so surprised when you took the precious baby home riding in a car in your lap.😱.I guess it’s not required yet in the Philippines to put the baby in a car seat. Where I live, you won’t be discharged home from the hospital without a baby carrier/car seat. I care about you SKY fam. Be safe🙏🏼

In many developing countries babies and kids alike are not required to sit in a car seat. It's kinda optional. When I put my newborn in a carseat my mum gave me a looong lecture on the dangers of doing that despite me saying how safe it was so yeah, different countries, different cultures & different beliefs. Even if it doesn't make sense to you, it's still something you have to respect because it makes sense in that society. First world standards aren't always applicable to rest of the world vice versa😉

I too am praying to God for a child. one thing that has helped me to stay encourage was to read about the different women in the Holy Bible who could not have children but God blessed them to conceive. Many women like Sarah, Rachel, Samson's mother, and even Mary mother of Jesus who was a virgin. If God can bless them to have children He can do the same for you, me and many other women too!! 🤗😊 God bless you!
