So true, I have gone overboard before because it's so easy to just keep buying. So I started putting a limit on gifts which also helps to curb spending

Those crafts turned out great! Ella really is growing, and you can really start seeing her personality now. That's a fun age. Good luck to Danny! Congrats to Cameron on the job and finding something he's passionate about. I know what you mean about seeing them grow up and become independent adults. It's so rewarding and fun to watch, even if it is a little bittersweet at times. Mine is now attending university and working at a local coffee shop and he's doing great at them and loving both.

Good luck Danny with your hip op.I have degenerative arthritis/disc disease ,and my left hip in particular is so worn now ,it`s painful to walk/stand ,so i know what lies ahead.Danny will have the best "nurse" ,we know ,and all the kids will be helping to look after him ,so i wish him all the best and a speedy recovery.Ella bless her ,that`s so sweet "Good girl" ,they do copy what we say and do.My eldest when she had her first baby doll and pram ,would get us all to kiss her ,then the poor "baby" would be thrown into the pram!LOL. So lovely to catch up with you.Take care ,much love.Xxx

Hope all goes well with Danny's op, when my husband had his knee replacement, I kept a video diary, which helped loads. On days when he felt helpless and in pain, I played back some of the videos to show how far he'd come, now 7yrs on he's doing really well. All the best x🤗

If you put the pine cones in the oven on low heat it opens Them up , and also adds a nice Christmas smell in the house

Hope all goes ok for Danny. I've had two done, 6 months after that fell done 3 stairs and broke leg in ,3 places still recovering hot out hospital 3 days before Xmas lol. Love to all your family. Have a lovely Christmas when it comes. Remember you'll be nurse 🤣🤣.💞

I hope Danny will be ok and be out of pain. Ella is such a cute little girl. My great grandson has started to walk and he's just over 11 month's but also he was 5 weeks early so really he's walking at 10 month's. They seem to grow so quickly nowadays. Also i agree about older boy's are hard to buy for. When i talk to my son about it he say's the same if he wants anything he can buy it himself. xx

Long time no see Helen, enjoyed this a lot, Ella is growing so fast now bless her, we become grandparents for the first time in September to Rosa, she melts my heart. Hope Danny’s op goes smoothly, my dad broke his hip a few years ago & took a while to mend but with the help & physio he soon bounced back. xx
