I know your styles have evolved since your Chicago days, but one thing that remained the same is how relaxing and cozy your videos are! I personally have very different style from all eras of Jhordan, but I think I just relate to your personality and your current focuses of content on home decor, interior design, vintage shopping are right up my alley too! I'm saying all this to let you know no matter what era, your calm essence will always have me drawn to your contents🫶🫶 but I am absolutely loving this current era of Jhordan!

Okay but interior decorating books from the 90s/early 2000s are my weakness! Such a good place to get inspo that isn’t Pinterest or IG. I have a little library that I’ve been acquiring secondhand and it’s so fun to be able to reference them when I’m styling my space.

I can relate to how you feel when you go to vintage shops. I feel the same way when I go to thrift stores and find the best things. I always feel like my day was accomplished when I can find a great find in the thrift store. I love finding purses, wallets, bags, unique drinking glasses. ☺ I enjoy your content! Thank you for sharing!

I loved this video! Antiquing is a lot of fun, There are so many treasures to find. I have a small square gold mirror like you bought. The black south does have some interesting sayings and colloquialisms. My mom told my dad “I am going to go make groceries .“ She meant she was going to the market. My dad was like what are you talking about? He was from a different southern state. It was funny and cute.

I hate when folks say Southern for things that are actually just Traditional Black American culture. From the food to the sayings. We didn't just forget our culture just bc we moved from the Jim Crow south. It's the people not the location.

Haha I been loving your videos lately! I’m laughing because of the whole southern saying y’all was doing… the ones I usually say is … “ you better get off your high horse” and “he’s too big for his britches” , “hold your horses” LOL that’s what I mostly say….

Hi Jhordan! I am a southern lady that loves the arts & music. When I move into my apartment, I have to have at least two types of musical instruments in my apartment. I have a big electronic keyboard 🎹 & two affordable violins 🎻 🎻 that I need to learn how to play one of them. One of the violins are pink beginner violin 🎻 that I my friend bought for me. The other one is dark brown. I want to get an electric guitar 🎸 that is not too big for me to handle since I am a short lady. Secondly, I can remember my mom telling a neighbor that was agitated her. She said to her “I will stomp a mud hole in your ass & walk it dry!” 😉😅💞🎊💫 I am in Chicago & that saying is my go to but now I just mase people who to runs up to me.😉😁💞🎊💫

Any suggestions on a really good natural deodorant that last all day? Every time I’ve tried aluminum free deodorant, it never works for me. Edit: I’m a 90s baby, but I definitely grew up old school. I still have an old soul. I love things from the 70s to early 2000s. 🤍
