I love your glasses 💜💜💜 they look so cute on you! My husband went through this journey when he was a teenager he didn't like it but I believe the process has evolved over the years to make more comfortable.

I’ve had braces twice and it’s not as painful as people make it out to be. Sure, you’ll have some pain and aches here and there, but it’s completely manageable and you’ll get so used to it after a while that you’ll barely notice it.

1Shamdon with the “brace face” this brought me back to when I made my decision ant got mine done awww I cnt wait to see your progress and the final result…ur def gorgeous now and you ago mawd dem bawwwwddd when u done….. the fly a try diss up the video lite it badmineee ee…the glasses dem a seh 1 gurl yaaah u dat **And just a til that helped me was to tear the food and stick it to the back of the mouth it made chewing and eating so much easier and Aleeve Tylenol was my bestfriend

Congrats on the braces. It’s mostly pressure and sensitivity. I didn’t really feel pain with my braces until I got powerchains and elastics 😬 Use warm salt water and wax and chew slow lol

I remembered when I was thinking of getting my braces I did like 4/5 consultation until I found what was right for me and my pocket lol. A journey I don’t regret and don’t plan on doing again. So I make sure I wear my retainers

Shammy you are pretty pretty the braces this is just the icing on the cake. You’ll love it in the long run and have no regrets your natural smile makes you look younger than you are good for now but wouldn’t be the case in say your 40’s. For a long time I didn’t know you were a teenager in Sue’s earlier vlogs because you just had cute child smile and later I just wondered if you we’re missing teeth figure you’d talk about if you ever chose to get your teeth done, and now you address it’s just a genetic trait. Just wondering did you have all your baby teeth or was it the same 2 missing?

Your decision for dental correction happened in due time, dental work it's all very expensive procedures. Get a waterpik waterflosser too Shammy. All the best on your journey. I started Invisalign a year ago and I’m happy I did because I can’t take the blisters and pain with braces especially when there’s power chains. I can still eat and not worry with Invisalign.

It’s good to get a water flosser. That’s what I use. Otherwise flossing is a pain. Also they have floss for braces. Platypus orthodontic floss.
