When you made the comment about slurping your noodles because you are in Japan, I paused the video and went to like and subscribe. For some reason people rudely refuse to recognise any culture that is not theirs. I am proud of you for not apologising for your culture

Love your Videos. I live in Sri Lanka and have a great respect to Japanese culture and its people. My wife and i spent 10 days and covered Tokyo, Hiroshima and Osaka! Enjoyed the hospitality of your countrymen and tried most of Japanese cuisine including Eel and Wagyu Beef! Please keep up the good work for the rest of the world to get to know Japan better! Samurai Daddy, I would like to congratulate you on your channel. I love the glimpse into Japanese life you offer. The slurping of noodles the bacon cooked how you like it. Nobody can say this is wrong! And for the people who do, I would imagine we could all find fault in the way they do things. Keep up the good work. Australia Japan game coming up soon.

I always really enjoy your videos, particularly ones that document your working days-you have such a long commute. Within this video though I was amazed at the attractive and healthy bento boxes on the train services. In the UK you could at most only get a tasetless prepacked sandwich and some crisps! Keep up the good work, you are doing great and I am happy to watch anything you decide to document for us.

A wonderful video, showing insight to how life is lived within Japan by you. Don't change your cultural ways of doing things...like the slurping {this is the Japanese way}. In some cultures, it's totally accepted to 'belch or burp' after their meal. You are being you, do not feel that you have to change, due to a few comments, please be your true self! I really enjoyed this video and look forward to future episodes. Have a wonderful day 🙏🌻

Another nice clip, arigato. Nice square frying pan for omelette, the best, one can make really nice looking omelettes with these. Since long sorting garbage and plastic is mandatory by law in Japan. Plastic is recycled. I have a special relation to 7/11 in Japan. We had one just next to our apartment building in Nakasu, Fukuoka and went in there daily. We got to know the family who ran it, very nice. At the time 7/11 was also the only place with ATMs which accepted European debit cards, maybe everywhere today?

Happy to see new videos on your channel. Can I request a special episode about payments in Japan? Since my VISA Debit Card charges a 2.1% foreign currency transaction fee, I basically use cash every time I travel to Japan. One problem with using cash is that there will be a lot of coins. I'd like to know how you manage so many coins? In addition, I found that convenience stores and many restaurants in Japan accept various payment methods. In addition to cash and bank cards, they also accept transportation cards and bar codes/QR codes. In addition to bank cards, which bar codes or QR codes can foreigners apply for online? Perhaps these methods can help me avoid the foreign currency transaction fee and the problem of holding too many coins.
@samurai-daddy
@samurai-daddy Ай бұрын
Thank you for watching my video! As for the problem of having a lot of coins, I think the only thing you can do is to use coins sparingly for each payment. 😅 The QR code payment methods recommended for foreigners are Alipay, WeChat Pay, and PayPay. This is information from the Internet. PatPay is the most popular QR code payment method among Japanese people. However, I recommend Suica or Passmo, which are transportation cards.

@samurai-daddy
@samurai-daddy Ай бұрын
"Gochisousama" is a Japanese phrase used after finishing a meal to express gratitude. It literally means "thank you for the feast," but it conveys deeper appreciation not only for the food but also for the effort of those who prepared it. In English, it can be translated as "Thank you for the meal" or "That was a great meal," but the cultural nuance implies a more comprehensive sense of gratitude and satisfaction.

I was curious about everyday life in Japan, which I don't know, and I saw a guy who mainly eats (long food clips don't make the movie attractive) and does shopping. I understand it's some kind of holiday, so you don't work, but apart from eating, anything else?

Dziękuję za obejrzenie mojego filmu! W przyszłości będę starał się stopniowo zwiększać ilość scen innych niż posiłki.
